In Oxfordshire :

"Dulano Selection" Black Forest Ham Slices 200g 99p
"Oakland" Baby Potatoes 1Kg 64p
"Sondey" Butter Biscuits ( Dark or Milk Chocolate) 125g 39p
"Schogetten" Chocolate Bars - ( "many delicious flavours" - ones thay have pictured are Alpine Milk,Strawberry Yoghurt , Hazelnut ) 100g 34p

The ham is really good. I bought a whole pile last time it was on the offer ( December ? ) . Would buy it even at £1.99 . For 99p it is a bit of a no-brainer. Because of the way it is layered , there is actually MORE in the packet than you may think from a quick look.

They are havign a German week - so lots of speciallity meats, sausages, pickles
Other offers for the whole week ( April 3-> 9 ) include

Unsmoked Back Bacon 250g 99p ( from £1.25 )
Beef Lean Diced Steak 400g £2.59 ( from £2.85 )
Leeks 750g 89p
Savoy Cabbage 49p each
"FinCarre" Premium Chocolate - various flavours including ginger, almond,Cornflakes 100g 29p ( from 69p ) - has anyone had this before? it isnt the "FinCarre" stuff they normally put on the weekend offers
"Ritter Sport" Chocolate 250g £1.49
Pork Loin Medallions 2Kg £10
Frikadellen ( Turkey or Pork ) 500g £1.69
"Dulano" Bratwurst Sausage (original or reduced fat ) 300g/250g £1.99
"Dulano" Bockwurst Sausage 500g £2.19

Has anyone tried these "Schogetten" Chocolate Bars - 100g 34p? if so which one would you recommend?

The price of this chocolate is almost the same as tesco's value or asda's smart price.

I got one of each flavour the last time they were on offer and I have to say, they were all good, it would be hard to select a single favourite.

I should add that they are not chocolate bars as such but individual squares of chocolate with filling and laid out in a bar form.

I bought the Tiramisu and the Cappuccino one for my Mum, she really liked them.

Good offers and the same in the North East (England).

I agree with the Black Forest ham, it goes a long way and terrific value for only 99p.
    Nice in creamy pasta.

All offers good really, no complaints here.

Bump - I saw the offers for the following weekend posted and it reminded me to go looking to see what's on offer this weekend.

The black forest ham really is good (perfect in a ham and cheese toastie!) and a total bargain at that price...hopefully it'll have a long date on it so I can stock up.

I also like some of the other German bits...the bockwurst is good for bbqs and will freeze so I might have to get some of those as bbq season is fast approaching.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

    .

From memory - the life in the fridge is around 2 months , but it keeps very well in the freezer without any loss of quality ( or at least any that I can detect :) )
