Was in Sainsburys this morning , and the equivalent product to the Ham was £2 for 80g - so 5 times the price of this weekends Lidl offer.

Ahead of this weekends chocolate half-price offer, my local Lidl (Glenrothes) has Fincarre premium chocolate on offer at 57% off (29p/100g)
The different flavours that I spotted were:
    Milk Chocolate Almond Caramel
    Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Gianduja
    Milk Chocolate Cornflakes
    Dark Chocolate Cranberry
    Dark Chocolate Ginger
    White Chocolate Cornflakes

There may have been more but I was pushed for time and didn't look in the boxes below.

Sorry you missed it. BBQ season was last weekend.

Nooooo!! I refuse to believe that. I was out of the country so didn't see it.

Yes - these where in my first post above. Bought some of the Almond Caramel yesterday to test it. The chocolate tastes the same to me as what is in their basic FinnCarre brand , but has the extra flavouring "bits" in it,.Dont think I would pay the full 69p , but okay for the 29p price

    :o
I never saw it in your first post but then I tend just to look at the half-price offers.

I just tasted the first bar and its OK, as you say the chocolate seems to be the same as the ordinary stuff, I may try using some of the bars as topping for some of my baking :)

The Ritter Sport Chocolate is the best I have ever tasted. Completely yummy - will be stocking up this weekend!

Has anyone tried these "Schogetten" Chocolate Bars - 100g 34p? if so which one would you recommend?

The price of this chocolate is almost the same as tesco's value or asda's smart price.

I've had the praline flavoured ones and they are luscious. The strawberry flavour bar is also very nice.

It is gorgeous! When I studied German at school the teacher gave us 'frau marks' for doing well/good behaviour etc and at various points in the term she'd bring in a load of Ritter Sport that we could use our 'frau marks' to buy...I'm pretty sure she brought in a bunch of other stuff as well, but I can't remember what because we always went for the chocolate! There was only one German shop that sold Ritter Sport in the area (20 years ago in Canada) and it was about 50 miles away so we couldn't just pop to Lidl and buy our own.

Been and bought the Black Forest ham, it looked really nice and good quality as normal. Only bought 4 packs, I was thinking of freezing some.
Also bought 10 x chocolate bars (mixture) and a couple of packs of biscuits.

Not as busy this morning and actually pretty quiet, but everyone was buying the chocolate it seemed. lol
