I had them too, but they were really nice. Probably depends on the batch, they obviously weren't all the same. Some of mine were huge and weird shaped though! I was surprised by the good flavour of the larger ones.0 -

Mmm so the store you use doesn't stock fromage frais, squeezy yog im a tube, fruit and choco corners (as i remember someone mentioning up thread).
And why call it a complaint, why blow up the subject?Dave Ramsey Fan[/COLOR]0 -
Have Aldi stopped selling the Manuka 15+ honey? Could only see the 10+.
This store also did not sell their own All Bran, only Kellogg s.
Today the store was a joke. There were at least 5 customers behind the sign where they will open another till for the both tills opened. The till assistants could not care less.
Plus the store is on a main road, there is only one lane to exit the store. If you are behind someone that wants to turn right, you can wait up til 10 mins. It's quicker to turn left out of the store, turn right, drive down a road with 70 houses then turn right. This road runs diagonally to the main road and you end up 35 yards from Aldi on the other side of the road. Plus this is a traffic light controlled junction and need to turn left to go back. When I left the car park, the car behind me was a bright orange Ford Focus wanting to turn right. He was still waiting to turn right when I got to the other junction:rotfl::rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. If people are unfamiliar with the area then they may not be aware they can take a detour. Many people travel some distance to their nearest Aldi (mine is 20 odd miles away) so might only know the exact route upon which they need to travel.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Have to say Lidls own large bottles of washing up liquid has gone a bit pants. It's all abit wattery and the bubbles disappear quickly. Even Tescos cheapo range is better now.0

Lidl - I like the Eridanous Greek style yogurts.
Pack of 4 for only 99p, they also do the larger tubs.

Then we'll have to agree to disagree. I bet they wouldn't lecture a complete stranger in the street in such an arrogant and condescending tone (I wouldn't and I doubt you would either), so why do it on the web? I don't see the purpose of this forum being for one person to "educate" another.
On topic I picked up a positive mention here for Lidl own brand baked beans. That would normally be something on my "no compromise" list, being a life-long Heinz eater. But based on what I read here I picked up four tins of Lidl's on offer for £1 and they are really nice. So much so I can't seeing myself going back to a branded product.
Someone also mentioned earlier they'd had a problem with Aldi tortilla wraps. I can strongly recommend the Lidl ones - I never buy any others now. Tasty and soft and if you reseal the bag they stay soft and fresh a surprisingly long time.
Big thumbs up also to Lidl Hummus and Cheesy Coleslaw!0 -

Somehow I doubt it as there are 3 others within 3 miles of the store in question. If you plot these other 3 on a map, it will be a triangle and the store I visited is plotted in the middle of the triangle.
Plus there are another 3 more 7 miles from here. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
