I shop for two of us weekly and find it hard to spend £30.
I agree, I really struggled to spend my £5 off £40 voucher about a month ago so ended up filling the trolley with snacks. I've put on 1/2 stone since then :o

Whereas this week it would have been really handy because I bought so many plants. Note to self: gotta watch out for household bargains rather than food.

Why would you do that? You could have bought food to put in the freezer for later use. I don't understand how anyone can struggle to spend money in a supermarket :rotfl:

No space! Had just taken delivery of a new FF and filled it with homemade meals.

I'm v careful in my calculation but because of some mispricing in my favour (including my "contingency" bakeware, which had been seriously reduced - I thought it was full price!), I ended up sticking whatever was at the till on the conveyor belt. Hand cooked crisps and stollens mainly :o

    They were delicious though :D

Aldi have some new savoury popcorn. Was not impressed with the tomato and worcester sauce as I could not taste any of the latter.

Impressed with their garlic sausage - 37p.

Well some of us do our shopping on foot, and carrying forty quids worth would be a bit of a struggle (particularly in Aldi!).
