I shop for two of us weekly and find it hard to spend £30.
Whereas this week it would have been really handy because I bought so many plants. Note to self: gotta watch out for household bargains rather than food.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Why would you do that? You could have bought food to put in the freezer for later use. I don't understand how anyone can struggle to spend money in a supermarket :rotfl:“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I'm v careful in my calculation but because of some mispricing in my favour (including my "contingency" bakeware, which had been seriously reduced - I thought it was full price!), I ended up sticking whatever was at the till on the conveyor belt. Hand cooked crisps and stollens mainly
They were delicious thoughValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Aldi have some new savoury popcorn. Was not impressed with the tomato and worcester sauce as I could not taste any of the latter.
Impressed with their garlic sausage - 37p.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Well some of us do our shopping on foot, and carrying forty quids worth would be a bit of a struggle (particularly in Aldi!).
Well, obviously!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
