  • Emsbet pictures are lovely, any chance you want to come round and decorate our nursery for us? It's full of boxes and stuff from the loft at the moment, lol.
LMM - hope you find some nice stuff on the website, I love snacking - I am terrible for it! My OH frightened my yesterday by asking me what I would choose if I could only live on five things for the rest of my pregnancy! the trauma of trying to decide was just too much!
Ickle - sorry to hear you've been having a 'mare, hope it all gets sorted out for you soon.
MM - really hoping that this means you're on your way!
Gemma - hope you feel better soon and your knee is ok

Hugs to everyone else and thanks for the info re latest offers! I've just read about three pages worth of posts so I have already started to mix up who said what!

OH is back at work today - his back is a bit better but not great. Just hoping he doesn't overdo things cos it will be a real nightmare if he is still struggling when we go away at the weekend.

Stuck at work at the mo and v.bored; really want to go home and carry on sorting stuff out! Got people round on Friday to give us heating quotes and I can't bear the thought of them seeing the house in its current state! Won't have time to do anything about it though so guess I will just have to go with it.

Feeling v. hungry already today - I keep looking at the clock to see if it is lunchtime yet! I prob just need to drink more - off to get some water!

On a different note, I'm watching a maternoty programme where a woman is fully dilated, from 1-10cm in 45mins and rang hubby to say get here quick kinda thing and he asked if he time for a shower haha :rotfl:

When I woke my other half up to tell him it was time to go, he got in the bath and washed his hair...and blowdried it! Not like I was in any discomfort or anything eh! :naughty:

    Emsbet your nursery looks lovely.

Ikkle (?) We had problems getting appointments at the right times last time, after a strongly worded letter from OH the hospital couldn't be more helpful.

    Re: Nurse.
When I was in hospital with the boys the nurse took out my IV and it fell to the floor she went to walk out. My sister who is also a nurse (not at that hospital) noticed and said that I needed another drug so they went to put the same IV back. Thankfully my sister was on the ball and took them aside.

Despite the circumstances which I understand are awkward for the nurses etc involved our midwife was awful and just told me to stop making so much noise and generally putting me down. (!!!!!! I was going through labour (twice) knowing I wasn't going to take a baby home with me and she was yelling at me )

Do you reckon she's just got a massive fanny?

Seriously though, very short labours aren't necessarily great. They can be very traumatic leaving both you and the baby in shock.

Thanks for all the lovely comments about the nursery :) and thank you for the link re MAM bottles mrsexcited. I was planning on getting those so I will order some I think.

Just got back from swimming, it was nice but I realised how unfit I have gotten when the old people kept swimming past me! :p I felt so heavy when I got out of the water! I got a taxi down there but decided I felt ok enough to walk the 30 mins back. I managed it but I'm shattered now!
