This was mentioned a while ago as a good deal, with BABY20 code you can get it for £160 rather than the discounted cost of £199.

Thanks for the suggestions Jovichick & Missmonkeymoo.
Well dr phoned me back and said she would only prescribe me external cream and the pessaries and internal creams are not suitable during pregnancy. Bit confused as I was prescribed a pessary when I had it a few months ago and when I phoned the midwife this morning she said a pessary could be used. Plus google also seems to come up with the conclusion that you can use the internals as long as you dont use the applicator thing, she wasn't having any of it though, telling me it wasnt suitable. I have external cream left over from when I had it before so going to smother myself in that and see what I feel like tomorrow. If still sore then I'll phone midwife again double check and go to my friend who is a pharmacist and get him to give me pessary.
And I swear if one more person phones/texts/facebooks me asking if any news I may just scream, I will tell them when it happens! And my phone app came up today saying 'congratulations your 41 weeks, after months of anticipation you are now a mum!' Really! well where's the baby then!
Anyway I've had an hour's nap and now eating saveloy and chips with packet of refreshers for afters so feeling better! There is cleaning to do but it can wait until tomorrow.:o
    xx
  • Zzzzzzz.......well don't know what's was in that cuppa cos I just woke up and the day is half over!
Hannah big hugs to you. Hope the dr will ring you back. I know some over the counter meds aren't licensed to sell to pregnant women and need to be prescribed so if GP are a bit slow it may be worth asking to get someone else to go. but fingers crossed baby comes soon.
Kitten I know the maternity policy (there's a policy for everything) says there's no minimum time In between maternity leave. I remember this as I joked to OH that I could be off for five years just popping out babies, ive never seen him go pale so fast hehe. Hopefully though you'll be entitled to something. Although it would ask for a copy of the policy if they have one for our own reference.
Miss Money hopefully things will start soon. The dog noises would freak me mout too much, I would have to move out I think lol.
Re: cats we got out rescue cat when I was just about pregnant think we'd just found out. But in the last few weeks she's sitting on my all the time. I'm getting too hot though and fidgety so after being kicked off the first time she lies next to me instead. I was kicking off the covrs the other day and didn't see her well I saw her flying threw the air :(
Little Moog glad the cake is finished and more importantly the dress does up lol. Sure you look great and everyone will admire the bump :)
Dizzi that game sounds adorable, but I need to stop thinking like that as soon it'll be me being kicked about :(
Thank you for the babies r us offer, sorry I forget who posted. Will check it out as we're looking for a new mattress for the cot. No doubt I'll see other beautiful thing I need.
Right I'd better do something incase I doze off again

Oooh yes, thank you for the Babies R Us info. We are getting the Saplings Katie Crib (instead of a moses basket for the first few months) and the code will knock £20 off so I'll be ordering that later.

    Hello all,
I'm popping in for a rant because I know your the only people who will get me at the moment.
I am sick of my midwife signing me up to every test going just because I'm not playing her games :( I had an inkling we wouldnt get on when I was switched over to her from the other midwife I had. Today I have had 3 appointment letters arrive for things I have told her over and over I WILL NOT be doing, meaning I have to spend ages chasing departments and cancelling it all AGAIN!
It is such a waste of time for someone to be typing these letters out and sending them to me when they know the answer already.

Can you maybe put something in writing that you don't want any tests? They are all optional so she should be listening to you, not trying to force you into having tests done that you don't want.
