I can't stand my stupid cat anyway so I did take great delight the other day when he was (reluctantly on my part) sat on my lap and the baby booted him in the side of his stupid fluffy head. He jumped off pretty sharpish, I can tell you."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

ok this is going to sound odd it isn't pregnacy related but.. my 2 dogs have a crate that they share to sleep in at night and when i leave the house etc. now sometimes they whine a high pitched noise and it's annoying and we will tell them to be quiet... however the oh has been hearing a whine when there wasn't one and telling them off. I got cross with him and said they wern't whining... now heres the odd part. Both dogs last night were on the sofa with me and guess what a dog whined in the crate... freaked us both out.. AND i'm in the hoiuse alone today both dogs are outside and the whining has started again!! I can't find the cause and it sounds just like a small dog yawing/whinging at the same time. I am FREAKED out BIG time!!! especailly since the stupid brown jr refuses to come in the house this morning!! omg omg omg!Bad mother to 2!

Miss_Money,
Could it be your washing machine, I know they can sometimes make weird whining noises. Anything else nearby that could be making the noise. At night my fridge sounds like someone is putting on the kettle.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Creapy missmoney! I'm sure there's a logical explanation for it though.

morning ladies
I've finished decorating my friends' wedding cakes for tomorrow!:j I'm exhausted though, I always forget how much work is involved. may be rethinking my longterm plan of setting up a wedding cake business! :rotfl:
Checked my dress for the wedding still fits, and I look distinctly bumpy in it! It does up though, so should be fine. Looks like the weather will be fine too, so I can wear the big hat I borrowed.:D I sometimes wish I'd been born 50 years earlier, I love hats and we just don't wear enoguh nowadays
Just going to have lunch and then a bath, and pack for the weekend. Probably won't be on again until Sunday, so hope you all have a nice weekendLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Noooooooooooo !!! its much more fun if you teach them the cat is their new best friend
cats just adore cuddles (round the throat is the location of choice) getting wrapped up nice and snug in a blanket (so only the nose shows)
Any my personal fav is playing dress up - doesnt every cat want to be a stormtrooper :rotfl:

MM - spooky! My OH was freaked out a couple of months back because our glass wardrobe door kept rattling in the middle of the night as if someone was shaking it. he ended up timing it and said it was every two minutes! I didn't hear a thing but just calmly told him it would be the house ghosts! The look on his face was priceless, but we stillhave no explanation for it now! We're not near a road so it couldn't have been any heavy vehicles thundering past! odd.
Hannah if you can't get a prescription you could try using natural live yoghurt! Eating it will help to maintain the natural balance of cultures, but I have read previously that (if you can bear it!) you can put it on a sanitary towel and wear it to relieve symptoms of thrush. I haven't tried it myself to be honest.......You have my sympathies though, have suffered with thrush many a time and it is vile.
re cats, my tabby still insists on climbing onto bump to paw me in the face every monring to tell me that he wants feeding. Other than that i don't think he has really sensed anything different. he just wants food all the time and doesn't stop searching and scrounging for it. my tortie is like my shadow, though she does insist on climbing on bump too!
Can't remember who posted info about Babies r us having 20% off but thanks- will def take a look at that in a bit!0
