I'm awake with heartburn and I've got no antacids left. Can't get comfy, am too warm and oh is bed hogging. If I have to sleep on the couch again I won't be happy. That's for sure *grumble grumble moan moan*

Maddie - I have just completed my form for work re mat leave. I’m going to start mat leave two weeks before my due date but have a load of annual leave to take before then so I’m going to actually finish 5-6 weeks before due date and I’ll be working shorter weeks for a few weeks before that. I’m not sure whether that sounds early but with the long commute that I do I don’t think I’ll cope much longer than that. Plus, selfishly I want to enjoy some time off by myself during the summer as it’s the last opportunity I’ll have to do that!

Milliebob - congrats on your scan and welcome to team blue! I was also a bit shocked to be having a boy (not sure why!) but once I got used to the idea I was thrilled!

Sexymouse - good luck for your scan today. I also went to Aldi yesterday and bought basically the same as you, but got the blue fleece blanket and towel and I got a cellular blanket and a pack of the bottles as well. Not 100% sure if the quality is that good but they were very cheap so thought I would get them anyway.

I’m off to the dentist this morning. Hate the dentist. Still, it’s only a check up and it least it’s free now!

Morning all!
I slept for over 6 hours and it was luverly!!!! No heartburn either bit sore this morning still but the in is shining here! Seems quite warm already. Got OH to put up the washing line in anticipation of a laundry marathon......later anyway.
Hugs Emsbet and Ikkle for the rubbish night. Emsbet hope your bad dreams stop soon. I go through stages of wierd dreams then nothing again.

Hope everyone else is ok and slept well.
Plan for today for me have another cuppa and must do more uni work. Seems to be taking forever with this piece, but I find lots of distractions lol.

I've always been one to get lots of scary dreams but pregnancy hormones seem to make them so much more vivid. This one was like something out of some slasher movie, not nice but I'll put up with any number of scary dreams as long as my LO is ok

I've got so much to do today, including cleaning the bathroom, clean the kitchen, changing the beds and packing loads of crap away before everyone gets here tomorrow. I've also got a man coming round to sort out two of the bedroom doors that don't fit properly since we had the new carpets put down.

First things first, I'm going to get out of bed and have my breakfast and watch jezza

Sending massive labour vibes to those boldies and those near the top of the list!

For the first time in 2-3 months I had 4 hours of unbroken sleep :j Normally I can only manage 2 and a half, 3 before I need to go to toilet or my hips/back/heartburn wake me up! In total I had 6 hrs sleep last night - felt amazing! A year ago I wouldn't have been able to cope on that - now I think its amazing I managed that much!

Millie - congrats on team blue! September does seem rather dominated by the blue brigade! We didn't find out what we are having as we want a surprise, but we both have an inkling it is a boy! not sure why - when we first found out I was pregnant we automatically thought it was a girl! We're happy either way though!

SM good luck for your scan today, can't wait to hear your news!

Triangle hope you enjoy your time off before LO comes! I don't think I am actually going to tell anyone at work when I am going - think I will tell my boss and HR but kind of just want to slip away!

I had a rubbish nights sleep. Very odd dreams and terrible awful groin and upper thigh pain I had a bl00dy show before bed though.. but I'm not getting my hopes up at all anymore! I've had sooo many signs and nothing happens :rotfl:

Morning all,

Yay for the few that managed to have a good night sleep. Seems there are lots of bad dreams going around.

In about half an hour I am having a call with work where I have to tell them that I am pregnant :eek: (22 weeks tomorrow I think). For those who don't know I am currently on maternity leave so not really sure what my options are. Ladyboyd is due before I have to go back to work so we will see :cool:.

Haven't felt LadyBoyd move this morning which is worrying. I haven't got to the point where I am feeling her regularly yet and she was kicking lots last night. Just really hoped she would kick before the phone call to put my mind at rest a little.

Good luck for Monday Emsbet if I forget which with my brain is likely. I forget what people have posted two posts before mine . What time is your scan? Mine is at 11:30.
