got a load of annual leave to take as well, plus ive just been TUPE'd over to a new firm and i really hate it. im i have three weeks peace and me-time before my other two finish for the summer. then the plan is to spend quality time with my children before baby comes in Sept. My youngest starts reception class in Sept as well so ill hopefully have time to get him settled in before giving birth!

I didn't sleep too well last night. For once my hips were fine but my little muffin decided to kick the sh!te out of me for a good hour around four to five. Little monkey!

Babies R us has 20% off for the next 3 days - thought this cotbed looked a bargain at £100 but at £80 ish it would be a steal !

Now window shopping so will report back if I spot anything outstanding :money:

Erin's party trick used to be playing mummy flipping - kick one side so hard and often you'd take the hint and roll over onto the other side, then repeat on that side so you'd roll back and see who cracked and fell asleep first - mummy or bump.

Morning All

Feeling down today, I'm now 8 days overdue and feel like it's never gonna happen. The antibiotics the hospital gave me for the water infection which had no symptoms seem to have given me a bad case of thrush, TMI but I am so sore, itchy, inflamed and just generally uncomfortable. Got tearful becuase I dont want to pass thrush onto baby if she comes soon, phoned the midwife and she said I am fine to take canestan pessary but best to get prescription from doctor as they might not sell it to me if I try and get it over the counter.
So phoned dr tried to get an appointment and none left today but receptionist said she'd leave a note for dr to give me a call, so I'm hoping they will take my word that it's thrush and leave a prescription for me to pick up.
Had hardly any sleep last night and it's all just getting to me.
Sorry for moan but helps to get it off my chest I've been really lucky and had such a straight forward easy pregnancy so I should be grateful that this is all I've had to deal with in the last 9 months.

Big ((hugs)) Hannah, thrush is such a b!tch and must be twice as horrible when your this close to giving birth. I hope you can get the dr to give you a prescription. Have you had thrush before? Usually if you have they take your word for it.

That is a lovely game.

Anyone else's pets being weird. Bagheera (cat) doesn't generally come near me but the last couple of weeks he has become so clingy. Currently sat on my lap guarding. (he's not a lap cat)


Phone call went ok, doesn't look like i will be entitled to smp but might get ma. They will get back to me with regards to holiday etc. Bit worried because I haven't really looked into anything and now wondering how we will survive financially.
