Pregnancy, as far as I can tell so far, is one of the least glam activities going!
((hugs)) for the piles, sounds horrible. I haven't had any yet but my SIL warned me that hers only appeared in the last couple of weeks....something to look forward to then! :rotfl:

Miss_Money wrote: »Elelyn i know about the perscription thing but My dr's are rubbish! i'm meant to be able to ask onlione for a repeat perscription.. however non of their links work! I can't get to the dr's myself to order the repeat, and oh get's in from work to late
If my dad pops round I get him to take me down BUT it takes 48 hours to be processed
i go through so much of the flaming stuff! I was told I'm not allowed to phone the surgery to order a repeat perscription in case they make a mistake
so I do a combo of buying and repeat..
on a TMI point does anyone esle have piles?Im so sore at the moment
are you allowed to use anything in pregnancy?
miss money, I grew a pile when pushing my little lady out. I was prescribed anusol, I still have it but has relieved the irritation. Best to ask your doc as she/he can prescribe it costing you nothing. Trying to be mse! I'm sure you can use it in pregnancy, I'm using it even tho my little one is still on breastmilk hth xxSealed Pot Challenge Member #8810 -

Thanks guys,
I am slowly getting over it! One good thing is that it'll never happen again as I'll ALWAYS check times in future. Would have been an option to get a family member to pick us up but we were actually locked out of the carpark - shutters down - and house keys in car!
Imagine we had a baby with us! Have to look on bright side.:D
When OH went to pay for carpark this morning a security guy told him the intercom is manned until 11pm, and had we located that he would have let us out. I'll never understand why OH felt the need to pass that info on to me !!!!
I really liked X Men so thought I would enjoy Avengers, but maybe its just my brain at the moment. Took me about half an hour or more to work out they were a collection of superheroes in their own right. most of which I'd never heard of. and yes, captain America was one of them.
I'm sure you'll all enjoy it - I went in a bit blind really and should have found out a bit more beforehand.
mmmm bacon & egg sandwich on the way.:D:D0 -
gtothec I didn't "get" captain america... He seemed stupid to me
hmmm the little girl in me really wants to go and see that new snow white thats been advertised. oh and the new Jonny Depp film

Afternoon ladies
Just taking a break from my mammoth day of wedding cake icing to catch up. Our friends are getting married on Saturday so today I'm icing and decorating a 3 tier fruitcake and vanilla and chocolate sponges! Thank goodness my morning sickness has passed! Unfortunately now there's nothing to stop me eating all the bits of icing I trim off, feeling a bit sick from that now!
Re: the Avengers, my DH is a huge comic/superhero geek, so we went to try and see it the day it was released, but it was sold out! I thought DH might cry with disappointment, he was in such a strop all evening! :rotfl: We went the next night instead, and actually booked tickets. We never normally bother as I've not seen our cinema more than half full for years. It was full again on the Friday though, obviously a popular film. I liked it, but I like that sort of film anyway (good thing given my DH!). DH is already making plans for how we'll get someone to babysit over Christmas so we can go and see the Hobbit film, though if it's as long as the LOTR films I doubt we'll be able to leave Beanie for so long by then.
Went to pilates last night and felt uncomfortable doing front lying exercises for the first time. Don't think i'll be able to do them for much longer. It felt like much harder work than normal, especially the exercises focussed on abs.
Alizee, sending lots of labour vibes your way, hope you'll be getting mummy cuddles later today!
GtotheC, that's so annoying about the carpark/hotel, I would be fuming too.
Turtlemoose, I can't believe how rubbish your hospital wereFingers crossed your midwife can suggest somewhere alternative.

Umm they may do, mine were looked at when my stitches were checked so can't really say. Good luck with whatever you decide
