Blimey, that took a bit of catching up but I got there in the end (never mind the fact I'm at work and shouldn't be on here at all...)
Bellola – As I understand it we are legally entitled to time off work to attend ante-natal/pregnancy related appointments. I have had loads of time off as my work is an hour and 15 minute commute from home/the surgery and hospital and the only appointments my midwife offers are in the middle of the day. Work have been fine about it and I’m making the most of any extra time off I can get. I don’t feel guilty!
Emsbet – yay for your DH feeling baby kick! It’s so exciting for them isn’t it? Mine keeps saying he is jealous and he wishes it was him having a baby. Can you imagine if a man could really be pregnant? They’d never cope in a million years!
Amymo – congratulations!!!
Hi AMC – welcome to the thread.
RJH – I got my ball from Tesco clearance section for the bargain price of £3.50. This was a couple of weeks ago now though so they may not have any left. Worth a look if you have a big Tesco near you though.
Miss Money – you should be able to get Gaviscon (or equivalent) on repeat prescription from your doctor. You won’t have to pay for it then. Make up removal machine sounds interesting…
Alizee – sorry you are struggling with the pain. Sending hugs and labour vibes your way…
Gtothec – I can’t believe you got locked in the car park. It wasn’t even that late!
Have a good day everyone.0 -

I have avoided that one so far...despite OH's efforts to make me watch itI do know Avengers has Thor in it and Robert Downey Jnr as Ironman so am sure I will be kept amused

Elelyn i know about the perscription thing but My dr's are rubbish! i'm meant to be able to ask onlione for a repeat perscription.. however non of their links work! I can't get to the dr's myself to order the repeat, and oh get's in from work to late
If my dad pops round I get him to take me down BUT it takes 48 hours to be processed
i go through so much of the flaming stuff! I was told I'm not allowed to phone the surgery to order a repeat perscription in case they make a mistake
so I do a combo of buying and repeat..
on a TMI point does anyone esle have piles?Im so sore at the moment
are you allowed to use anything in pregnancy?

Check with your midwife first but sure there is stuff that can be used.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
