Just realised I should have put 'heroin' not 'heroine'! Haha, liquid lady hero might be useful at times though.....:rotfl:

You just reminded me of when I was at Uni studying English and one of the groups doing a presentation on a text we were studying referred to the female lead character as the heroin all the way through in their handouts - made me giggle :p

Dizzi - I bottle feed and i dont give a monkeys who judges me. If it's right for me it's right for Tristan and that's my priority.
Please don't be ashamed. Don't let other people's judgements ruin what is such a special time and please don't hide away.

Dizzi, I agree with the other ladies, as long as LO is happy and healthy it's no one's business whether you breast feed or bottle feed. It isn't your fault Erin hasn't been able to breast feed.
I plan on attempting breast feeding but I'm aware that it doesn't work for everyone and so I won't beat myself up if it doesn't happen. I'm also thinking of switching to combination feeding at about 6 weeks but we'll see how it goes. If anyone doesn't like it they can bog off!

I'm so sleepy this afternoon after my trip into town. I've had a nap and still feel groggy, I'm also hungry again. I don't think I'm going to be very productive today :(

 happy, how are you doing m'dear? How are those adorable boys of yours?

I am ok thanks Emsbet. Cal has been ill for over a week now so that is stressful but we are getting there.
Just at the docs with Tristan trying to get his reflux sorted. First time I've took him out myself and have managed the pram/car seat combo. Very proud of myself.
    How's you?

Poor boys :( yay for managing the pram/car seat :)

I'm ok, starting to get nervous again about Monday but fine apart from that. Just trying to get the house in some sort of order as we have lots of friends staying Saturday for DH birthday night out (his birthday is Monday). I think it may have to wait until tomorrow though as I don't have the energy today :o

I'm thinking of hiring a TENS machine for labour but I haven't looked into it yet really.

Pros and cons, emsbet. Remember that you can't use them with water so if you're in early labour and fancy a bath or want to deliver in a birthing pool, you can't use one. Plus you can't have someone massaging your back if you're wearing one. These two drawbacks, coupled with the fact that they're only effective for mild to moderate pain makes me think I won't bother. I think a couple of paracetamol, a bath and a massage will make me feel better during early labour than a TENS machine.

Dizzie,I would just relax she is your baby and its upto you how to feed her,i breastfeed and when I'm out I will feed in public with a blanket covering and the looks I get,its as if I'm doing something really disgusting, and what surprises me is its mainly women that give these looks,iv been asked why don't you put it in a bottle before I came out and I replied because I couldn't be bothered and to be truthful I think its more hard work bottle feeding with all the cleaning and sterilizing

Thanks for that, I'll have to give it some more thought. Still got plenty of time :) hmmm maybe I'd prefer a nice bath and a massage from DH over little electric shocks! ..... yup definitely going to have to think about this some more.
