You certainly get different togs Emsbet. I've got Tristan in a 2.5 one as my house is quite cold but I think you can get 1 and 5 togs aswell.

I think they can be but you have to watch out for the neck size of the sleeping back as smaller babies can wriggle down inside them. I'm going to get some but maybe use blankets to start off

No they're not recommended until baby is 10lbs I think it is obviously some newborns are already that weight xx

I think baby sleeping bags look fab, but I'm going to wait a few months before I use one. Until then it's going to be just cot blankets, or clingfilm. That's probably quite warm, and, as a bonus, swaddling too.

I've got a few baby sleeping bags in 1 and 2.5 togs - just annoying I can't use them yet because she's woken up a few times last night having kicked her blanket off completely! Quite why she feels an inability to sleep without having her legs at a 90 degree angle perpendicular to the mattress on her moses basket is beyond me.

In other news - we'd gone 3-4 days without a poo and I was getting very worried... clever little girlie saved poomageddon for daddy's nappy change!

Dog vet bill came to over £400 - painful! Have put a pet insurance claim in (first time I've ever had to claim on it) - otherwise for once hubby's annual bonus doesn't go on car repairs but on dog repairs.

Oh and my breast pump appears to be giving up the ghost - after only a couple of weeks - have sent shirty email to Avent complaining!

In other news - went shopping - mainly to stock up on 3-6 month aged basics (pretty sorted out in the other age ranges at the moment)... got a tonne of babygros and stuff, and some leggings and other outfitty stuff (I prefer leggings under dresses to baby tights at the moment) and then got some really nice dresses reduced in Debenhams (they seem to have a lot of stuff in that's NOT pink - and I've got a massive weakness for things like bright red pinafore dresses).

I have a nice 2.5 tog one I will send with that stuff Emsbet. Aaron doesn't like them, he needs to be properly tied down to sleep. Arms and legs swaddled in! It's ridiculous x
