    I think (although I maybe wrong) student mrs that they come in various togs so some are suitable for summer.

    That sounds about right.

    I did read somewhere (long while ago so not reliable) that they aren't recommended for newborns but think that might just be certain togs.

    You certainly get different togs Emsbet. I've got Tristan in a 2.5 one as my house is quite cold but I think you can get 1 and 5 togs aswell.

    I think they can be but you have to watch out for the neck size of the sleeping back as smaller babies can wriggle down inside them. I'm going to get some but maybe use blankets to start off

    No they're not recommended until baby is 10lbs I think it is :) obviously some newborns are already that weight xx

    I think baby sleeping bags look fab, but I'm going to wait a few months before I use one. Until then it's going to be just cot blankets, or clingfilm. That's probably quite warm, and, as a bonus, swaddling too.
