flutterby - hope your little one gets well soon, sorry to hear you have had such a hard week

all i keep hearing from people lately is how hard work kids are, it does worry me.

my cold kept me up a bit last night but not feeling too tired. my parents brought over the cot bed earlier we had it delivered to their house so OH might start putting up tomorrow. sister also brought me another mat top.

12 weeks to go as of monday:j

i am feeling like i want to bake cakes all something:D, we have nothing naughty to eat in the house.

hope some of the boldies are labouring as we speak......

Emsbet as you read I was the same a few days ago and baby started kicking up again properly a day or 2 later. I know how hard it is not to worry but as everyone has said it is too early to worry about kicking at our stage. the last few days my kicks have been higher so baby mustve just moved and was wriggling around where I couldn't feel it. I think I read somewhere to lie on your side for a bit and then move on to your back and see if that moves them a bit.

Plus I also find I'm busier at the weekends rushing around and so I don't notice movements as much.

I've just had a sit down and the little monkey has had a bit of a wriggle! Thanks for the support ladies, sorry if I've over reacted... again! :o I'm trying so desperately to not worry at every little thing but after last time when everyone kept telling me it was probably ok and it wasn't ...

    Yay!!

He already knows how to keep mum on her toes! I forgot to say that if I curl up or lie on belly, mine normally complains :) hope you can have a restful weekend and this is the place to worry!!

OMG bless! The lovely staff member from the horrid ward, who I got quite close to when in there (she'd been in the same boat herself previously) just took it upon herself to ring and ask how we were doing - not something she often does apparently... an utter angel that woman.

Thanks beautiful ladies :) My little monkey definitely takes after his daddy, a cheeky boy! ;)

I'm just still struggling to believe that this might actually work out for us this time :o

    Couldn't agree more! :T

Hi ladies - back from a mammoth shopping trip! :) Had a lovely time, although very swollen feet now and hips are in a bit of pain - but I was very good and took it very slowly..with several stops! Have pretty much everything for baby that I'm getting before the birth now with just under 7 weeks to go :) Except for cot sheets and a baby sleeping bag - going to be looking online for better prices than those I've seen today!

Flutterby - sending lots and lots of love and hoping LO gets better soon, thank you so much for posting xxx

Dare I brave the bus into town with a newborn (well 1 month old)... want to go to Primark since they do babygros with ridiculously long arms and legs which are about the shape that fits lil' miss... she's "outgrown" loads of her early baby stuff mainly based on the long arms and legs thing.

Cut the feet off (the babygros, not the baby, obv).

Oo, please let us know where you get them from - I don't really understand baby sleeping bags and they look so hot for a baby due in August but I'm very tempted! 7 weeks seems so few to go, hope the pain goes quickly for you.

ive been so lazy today but i did go to work for 2 hours this morning so feel I'm allowed :o have a really tight tummy, boy keeps squirming but i think it is just trapped wind? odd.
