My OH being away is bad for my health - last night after he'd gone I had two lots of cherry garcia ice cream and 2 packs of seabrooks crisps despite having a lovely (and filling) roast lamb dinner before he left.
I've got something sensible for dinner so won't be going for takeout but there's still half a tub of cherry ice cream, half of haagan das cafe de leche and half a tub of haagan das cookie dough sat in the freezer.
Actually writing this I think just having 2 lots of cherry and leaving the rest shows amazing restraint

yay just had a call from boots evaluation suit asking me to go in on the 8th of may to test a machine that takes make up off i get a £10 gift voucher right then I now need to phone my taxi service (dad ) poor man I'm still such a daddies girls and I'm 32!!! hahaha!

lol Miss Money, my OH is another of the do-nothing weekend fans... I've taken to giving him a list of things that need doing on a Friday night (the things I can't do like moving heavy stuff etc) otherwise nothing would ever get done I swear if he says 'at least you don't work' one more time, I will swing for him - he seems to think being at home all day is some kind of utopia, I think he is under the impression that magic elves do the housework and I am sat here painting my nails all day :rotfl:

Mrs Manda I agree you were very restrained I don't honestly think I could have done the same

My baby now has a bed :j:j The cot arrived about an hour or so and I am trying to resist the urge to open it up (I love flat pack )....

I'm so opposite from the oh its unreal! I cannot not do stuff at the weekends I need to be out and about doing stuff. Staying in the house drives me potty where as Dan, well He can quite happily sit down and not move for 48 hours...:eek: even if it means theres no shopping in the house:eek: he eventually got off his bum and went to the co op last night at 8pm.. without my list and got what he likes and nothing of what me and the kids like :rotfl: when I get my independence back I'm soooooo going out every sat/sun without him!!

Hugs Charli hopefully things will get moving without the induction and you'll have the birth you've been dreaming of all these months. As long as bubba is here safely in the end all will be well. Although Happy's was great, will have to make notes of that for when it's my turn! I'm still at the big cup pas, choccy and lazing :rotf:
Jovi I would be attempting to put up the cot too, it's just too exciting!! Sounds like you're nearly sorted.

MissMoney I guess I'm lucky my OH quite likes DIY etc so normally him and his dad get on with the list of jobs I've given them at weekends whilst I'm out the way at work....however

I returned from the dr. Was my own dr so she knows all the past medical history etc so made it a lot quicker than normal. Basically she signed me off for two weeks and then said we'll see. But she basically said its unlikely I can go back to work before the baby comes. She said she should be more positive but there's not much they can do for SPD. I knew that, but I was still kinda hoping that there would be some magic somewhere. The thought of the next 20 weeks at home in pain I think will make me madder. GP reckons occy health is unlikely to allow me to work even in a clinic due to health and safety especially if I'm on crutches. The bummer is I need to do one more assessment on the ward for my last uni module so if I'm off sick it's whether I can do that or I'll have to defer until after baby comes and return to work. Not wanting to write all the essay etc to find its no good next year IYSWIM? Will be gutted as really wanted to get it finished before baby comes rather than having hanging over my head and having to try and do it all with the baby. Argh!!!!!!!
On the plus I can live in my craft room :-) and have lots of time to be creative. Got a learning Italian cd which I've been meaning to learn for years, so thats another nice sit down job I can do. Trying to be positive here! I'm sure I'll find stuff to keep me out of trouble and away from online shopping :-)

Typical, have to go get DS in 10 mins from school and, after being sunnyish all day so far, the rain clouds have just settled in and the front room went all dark.... umbrella time methinks

Having had SPD in the two previous pregnancies I know there was no magic cure and even the physio just looked at me and said "here's some crutches" I'm now in a wheelchair as the pain is unbearable. My work told me crutches would be a health and safety issue and i may have to go off work sick.. I cited the disabilities thingy at them and they relented.... otherwise I too would have been off from 20 weeks. I work with kids so their argument was my crutches would be a trip hazard. and a wheelchair would be too.... until i pointed out they aren't allowed to discriminate against wheelchair users ( I was still on crutches at work) My doc signed me onto light duties which just meant I was sat at tables helping the children play games rather than running around with them as before!!
Spd Is a real downer of a problem. I can't believe how upset it has made me. I should have known how it would as I've had it twice before but I was silly the pain is in a different place this time too. i feel like my inner tighs and groin are being knifed with hot meachettes all the time.. before it was back pain with hip pain and siatica. Although saying that when ive stood for more than 10 mins now I'm getting back ache. one thing is for sure.. After this little one is born there will be no more chidlers for me!!!! I'm done! If Dan wants anymore he can have them or adopt.. im not doing this pain again!!!
Sorry that its causing you bother with your modular stuff thats a real pita. xxx
I dont have a craft room but I have a craft cupboard full of scrapbooking stuff, so I may start on some of my new scrap books (Id have to do it whilst Maddies at nursery as she's into everything, failing that it will have to wait until both big kids are at school in sept lol)
