    Happy due date Charli :)

I wonder how Phunkles and safesound got on with their inductions last weekend? I really hope dizzi is ok.

I'm still I'm Shrewsbury, will be going home later today. Had lots of fun. It's one of our nephew's 3rd birthday today so we've done lots of fun things with him :)

It was also my bestest's birthday Friday so we went out last night for that. It was good because ingot to see a lot of my friends who I haven't seen for a while and they were all commenting on my belly :)

Can't believe how much my little wriggler is moving now. Since Wednesday I've felt him/her everyday and not just a little bit either! Yesterday I felt it loads, it's so great and makes me smile every time. Really can't wait until DH can feel it too :)

I hope you're all having nice weekends

    xx

Congrats to Glimmer, Leo is a lovely name :T and lol to Triangle you have a top ten  we struggled with getting one name we could agree on :rotfl:

    Emsbet,
Mine seemed to suddenly change from feeling him once every other day to several times a day :j its great isnt it ! My youngest keeps asking when he will be able to feel him kick so Im looking forward to that more than hubby feeling him !

    BB1984,

For my first child I was induced so had an epidural and sat still on the bed the whole time, was a horrible experience all round.

With my Ds2 I was induced again but only needed my waters breaking so was much more mobile, at the point when I was contracting I would close my eyes and concentrate on my breathing (in my mind I would visualise a wave coming in and out on the beach) I breathed in/out with the waves and it kept me calm - I found if I let it the contraction would take over and I would panic start to pant and tense up so I was then in agony :o It sounds so hippy but worked amazingly well. Not good if you are using gas & air though, that made me so drunk and giggly I found everything funny and couldnt focus :rotfl:
    Bow Ties ARE cool

Oh gosh girls. Wait til they pound you in the cervix!! I sooo hate that it is the weirdest horribilest feeling ever. Would still rather that than not be able to feel her at all though tbh!

    Morning all

Not been on here for a while. Can't believe Maisie is 8 days old today, it goes so quick. She is still fast asleep in her moses basket, daddy is in bed having a lie in too. She is such a food girl but drinking me dry so I have had to combination feed as I cannot keep up with her demands!! She is thriving and I love having Princess Maisie :) DS adores her and keeps telling her he loves her and the minute he sees me without her asks where she is :)

Emsbet, congrats on hearing the heartbeat, such a great feeling and very overwhelming.

Happy, hope you are well, you home yet?

Congrats glimmer, another queue jumper hey lol. Full of them on here, bet it was so very unexpected.

Hello everyone else, not really read through, just skim read. Have a good day, the sun is shining in lovely lancashire so think a walk with the pram is on the cards.

Its when they move their feet along your belly and you can see the whole foot protrude that bothers me - its fascinating and weird all at once :rotfl:

Dashikii, not long for you - in one week you will see them and have the cuddles, fingers crossed for you! I am sure it feels great to have date. How many weeks will you be? I keep forgetting...

It is a sunny morning here, if a bit chilly. OH asked if we an go for a walk, and I said yes, as long a we sort something in the house first... Blackmail - that is what I have to resort to to get him do something.

Talked to mum last night, and told her when approximately we would like them to come. She said she was thinking to come for a week, but I thought I will be a nice daughter an ask them if they would like to come for two weeks... She is still shocked that doctors are considering natural delivery, she was told at my birth that I would have to have c-section due to my dislocated hips at birth. I would much rather avoid the major surgery if I can.

Re pain in labour. I am not thinking about it. What happens, happens. And in these days there are plenty of ways doctors can help you to cope with pain. I know I will be strapped to bed, was told that much at delivery suite visit, as they need to monitor both twins, I know it is going to hurt, etc. But I am not going to write a birth plan or anything like it. I am avoiding any suggestions or questions on how would I like to give birth, what position, etc, as I don't want to fill my hea wit ideas and dreams and then all goes completely opposite. Instead, keep my mind open, and midwives and doctors will do what they can to get babies out safely. One thing though - don't want pethidine. And not sure on gas and air, as I hate feeling out of myself (and I don't drink alcohol either, so the drunk feeling is not something I am familiar with). But will give it a go.

Oh, and decided last night that I will try and make roman blinds for the nursery. So, ordered the roman blind kit from eBay and blackout lining. Will see were we get to.

And found second hand dishwasher on eBay not too far as well, so hope to get it cheaper than £350 for the brand new. If we stay here, we would probably be redoing kitchen in a few years time, and we would not like a semi integrated dishwasher, so if we can get one for now for less than £100 or even £200, would be happy. It is a good brand, not too old, so hopefully would last few years more.
