Wow, congratulations to Happy and Glimmer, that's excellent news.

Hold on a minute, !!!!!!???? When did I get to number 5?:eek:
This is actually getting real. I'm really pleased that I have a date to look forward to though cos I think I would go nuts just waiting around for nature to kick in. I salute you ladies who wait. I'm actually getting excited now and am really looking forward to the whole experience.
A few people have said to me that I'm a bit too relaxed about the whole labour experience, but I just refuse to focus on the pain. Yes it will hurt, probably more than I can ever imagine, but I don't see how focusing on it helps me or the babies. Also learnt some really useful tips from a friend of mine who is a hypnobirthing therapist so I will be positive.

Oh and I have my pushchair and car seats finally :j

Ah Glimmer, love the name Leo and well done you! Am jealous, I want my LO!

Had a nice meal for my sis hen do, family who I don't see often thought my bump was fake, it does admittedly look like I've put a football up my top! My aunt said she's "never seen one like that before!"

Wise words dashikii! I agree that there's no point in dwelling on the pain. At our ante natal class the other day the midwife said that so much of it is about your mental attitude, and keeping your head in the right place...easier said than done though I'm sure...!

Are any of the tips your friend gave you transferable to writing on here? I could do with any tips going! I plan to get a hypnobirthing cd but have been procrastinating as don't know which one to go for.

I'm awake early despite having a late night, as am staying at my friend's house and it is SO hot in here! Have opened the windows but it's still like a sauna.

Ooh wanted to add, glimmer, that leo is a really sweet name
