    Good luck to glimmer!

And congratulations to Happy! Hope you can go home soon(if that is what you want!)

I am relaxing in the nursery, OH is here too reading a book, he put some music on that his dad gave for babies to listen to.

On a different nite, our dishwasher is 'on holiday' again. I think we need to get a new one, as this one is not going to get any better. What makes it worse, it is a semi-integrated ne, so would be a bit more difficult to replace than the freestanding one, and more expensive to buy. Just need to get go ahead from OH again. I am not willing to attempt having twins without the dishwasher and also having his parents, and all the visitors.

Ooooh glimmer I'm incredibly excited that my due date buddy will have a baby very soon! I just wish mine would take note and join in the race for the finish!! I'm finding this last couple of weeks more frustrating than the 2 waiting weeks when TTCing lol!

I went out for a walk earlier, got halfway round and the heavens opened! I got soaked! Luckily DH was at home in bed and heard the rain so put the heating and electric fire on so it was starting to get nice and warm by the time I got back.

I had a lovely healthy lunch today, a mixed salad with crispy bacon, hard boiled eggs, cheese and crusty bread all washed down with a huge mug of tea. Yummy! Now I have a little plate of treats next to me, small bits from different chocolates, sweets and biscuits as I couldn't make my mind up what I wanted so I've got a bit of everything!

    Good luck Glimmer :)

With regards to Strep B it's something most people carry with ~1 in 4 pregnant women carrying it in their vagina but only 1 in 2000 babies is diagnosed with it so it's kinda rare which is why there's not current screening programme.

I was tested for it because the maternity unit was testing for a UTI. They found it in my urine so I had a week's antibiotics and will get regular penicillin injections during labour to reduce the risk.

According to my midwife and antenatal classes bras (non-wired as well as wired) may cause damage to the breast tissue if they don't fit properly and cut into the tissue. But if they're fitted properly and go under the breast tissue rather than on it they won't cause any damage.

I got good news today :) Found out that my friend gave birth yesterday to a baby girl :) She's a bit small, despite being overdue so they're still in hospital to get checked over but she seems healthy.

I think my nesting instinct may have started to kick in, I've been clearing things out and making space for baby stuff. Though I keep having to stop and rest - even the smallest task seems to make me exhausted at the moment :-s

We bought a bag to use as my hospital bag so I'm writing out a list of things to pack. That way I can put it in the bag and tick things off as I pack :) got 8 weeks to my EDD but even my OH has started to say it'd be a good idea to start packing so thought I ought to be prepared.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend
