Ah so happy for you Emsbet glad it all went well :-D You're always out and about, hope you have a good time.
Gin you sound like you're getting sorted. Storage sounds great think I may some tips on how to disguise all the mountains of baby stuff. My spare room looks like a bit of a jumble sale atm. Got a couple of weeks off in May so that'll be when we decorate the nursery....eek I'll be 23(?) weeks by then I guess. Omg that's only a month away!!!!!!!:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

You what! You can't be decorating before me LOL. I am 25 weeks and not touched any yet! Will Trimester 3 knocking on the door I really shoud get a move on tbh. The hard thing is the nusery is currently my office as I work from home - and this can't easily be moved :-s But I am working only 2 day weeks now. Maybe I should shove it all in a corner and and keep moving it around as I paint lol.0

Hi Natwesty, I haven't had that problem as I've seen the same midwife each time though as I see a consultant as well I often have to give a brief overview of what was said at my last appointment. As others have said, if you're worried I'd definitely mention a scan if only to put your mind at rest. My friend's baby has been engaged since 34 weeks but was 10 days overdue and the midwife decided that she may be wrong and actually the baby was breach. Cue my friend panicking but the scan showed baby was in a perfect position just late. She went into labour last night and I haven't heard from her yet - it's really hard not to try to contact her to see what's happening but as everyone gets frustrated by constant 'is she here yet' questions I'm behaving.
Had my 32 week scan this morningYou can see all the features of his face clearly and everything looks huge but is within the expected parameters. I thought this would be my last scan but they've booked me in for one at 36 weeks as I'm seeing the obstetrician then anyway so they figured they'd do a scan at the same time.
The student midwife thought there was blood in my urine so I had to give another sample which has been sent to the lab and because my iron levels were borderline at 28 weeks and I've been feeling out of breath I had to have another blood test to see if my iron had dropped again.
And now I want to go back to bed which could also be a sign of low iron or just me being pregnant and lazy
Emsbet glad everything was OK
Gin every time I read your posts I'm in awe of how organised you are. My excuse is that I cannot sort out the nursery because it's currently the study and my OH is using it every night/weekend for revisions though that shouldn't stop me trying to sort out the rest of the house
Hope everyone has a good day x0 -

I just wondered how people are getting on with their midwifes. I'm not normally one to complain but I got a bit fed up this week. Due to holidays/training I've alternated between two midwifes and haven't had two consecutive appointments where I've seen the same one. I find that most of my appointment is taken up by me telling the one I'm seeing what the other one said last time :undecided. At my last appointment it turns out they disagree about baby's position - one thinks it's head down engaged (which I was really pleased about!) but the other thinks that's it's bottom and it's still breach. I'm nearly 36 weeks so was a bit bothered but she said if there is still uncertainty at my next appointment (next week) I should go for scan - except it's down to me to tell the other midwife as this one is on a training day next week. I don't want to be too pushy and tell the other midwife how to do her job, but don't want to ignore the midwife that thinks it's still breach. I just feel like I'm being past from pillar to post  - not sure if I expect too much though - it's not their fault if the nhs is stretched - has anyone else experienced similar?
Knock both their pesky heads together and get a scan. Silly billies, whilst they disagree you just feel stressed. You're not expecting too much - it's important to have consistency else you don't know where you are. Next appt, regardless of who you see and what they say, ask for them to arrange a scan for you x."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Not long back from the midwife appointment - heard Bean's heartbeat for the first time, and she said it's definitely a wriggler! I told her that I'd felt the fluttering mainly on my left side of my tummy, and it's there that she found the clearest heartbeat, so I'm guessing Bean likes it over that side the most. lol Pleased to hear that all the blood tests that have come back so far are clear, and blood pressure etc was perfect again. However, the results from the blood count and glucose tests haven't come through still, so she's going to chase them up with the hospital, so I hope they come back clear, as still getting headaches. She told me just to take paracetamol and didn't seem too worried about it.
Moon has caused me to get very stressed this morning though (10 minutes before we were due to leave for the appointment, so I was surprised the blood pressure was ok) - he told me that he has lost his wedding ring, and doesn't remember when he last had it on. He couldn't understand why I was "getting so emotional about it"! I told him that even if I weren't pregnant I'd be getting upset about it, as we've only been married a year! He's called his work to see if they've seen it, but no luck there, and has a police report number in case anyone finds it and hands it in. He's called the insurance company and luckily his policy covers it, but it doesn't make it any less upsetting. Luckily we have a photo of the ring (in our wedding photos) to send to claim, as we bought the ring a few years ago, and he's not sure that he still has the receipt. I'm not normally superstitious, but it is Friday 13th today. He woke up and it wasn't on his finger, so goodness knows when he last had it on, as he never removes it.
Oh well, enough moaning. I'm off to persuade him that we should go into town, as I've decided to take some bras back to M&S, as the ones I'm wearing at the moment (bought at the same time) are quite uncomfortable, and I'm wondering whether I've grown again since I had the fitting (last day for refund tomorrow). Moon thinks they may have grown too.
Hugs to all feeling down or poorly and labour vibes where appropriate.

Glad your appointment went well and the blood tests which are back were fine. I've been having severe headaches complete with black spots in front of my eyes throughout most of my pregnancy so I've had quite a few blood tests to check for pre-eclampsia and other possibilities and they've all come back as normal - I think mw and doctor have now decided that pregnancy + MrsManda = severe headaches. Though they're still keeping an eye on it.
On the plus side the last two weeks they've been a lot less severe so hopefully yours will settle too.
I understand your upset regarding the wedding rings. Both myself and my OH have mislaid our rings during the time we've been married and we're both a bit of a wreck until they've been found. The last time I mislaid mine for almost two weeks and turned the house upside down - eventually found it on the floor, under a bottle of fruit squash despite the fact I must have lifted the bottle multiple times since losing it so hopefully your husband's ring will turn up somewhere unexpected soon.

Had my 32 week scan this morning

Glad your san went well! I hope your tests come back fine. Low iron is not much fun, but it is not the worst thing, I guess. Tells me, who only got out of bed at 11.30 today...
I have my 32 week scan next Thursday, can't wait! Hope they are still growing 'on average'.
I am not organised, I am lazy, so things accumulate to the level I can't ignore anymore. Besides, having a ticking clock saying you could have your babies any day now makes you pull up your sleeves and get on with it. Especially when OH won't! I asked him to sort out the books from his bedside table that I removed and put on the floor in the landing when he was feeling ill, so there would be space for a mug, well, more than 2 weeks later the books are still in the same place I left them.
Just had a shower, really should eat something, but so not hungry! I haven't had anything yet today, although we did go to Indian restaurant last night, which was just amazing. It was full of 'local' people, the food is amazing, and we managed to limit ourselves to popodums and a main.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Emsbet - that's fab news! I had abit of a scare at 15 weeks and ended up at A&E; the on call Gynaecologist checked me over and thought everything was ok but wanted to check baby's heartbeat to be on the safe side. The nurse told me not to get my hopes up as you usually can't hear it until later on in the pregnancy, but luckily enough it came through loud and strong! I was so overwhelmed!
BB1984 - so glad I am not alone, although I think your list sounds way more involved than mine - and with only 9 weeks to go! Hope it all gets sorted out really soon for you!
