    Hello everyone,

Goodness me it's hard to keep up with this thread at times! Massive congratulations to both Snoopy and Lovecrafting. Good luck to anyone awaiting scans, inductions and so on.

I had a lovely day out with my mom yesterday looking at baby stuff. I think we've decided which pram system to go for. I've got a voucher for 10% off at Mothercare which is valid until 15th April but it seems a little early to be buying as we don't even have our 20 week scan until 20th April. 10% is a big discount though. I'm also a bit concerned that if we don't get in quick we might not get what we want as it's a new range and it seems to be very popular - I'll be very disappointed if it sells out and we can't get it.

I was hoping to get started with decorating what will be our nursery this weekend but need DH to sort out all his stuff that currently occupies the room. He doesn't seem in any rush to do it and I don't want to start nagging but I'm getting a bit annoyed about it! Still, we have plenty of time yet so I suppose I should just have some patience.

thanks for your best wishes. ohh were back to the yong lady thing, dont feel like it today i feel like the zombie apocolypse was a toddler version of how i would really feel after she was born lol. it isnt her keeping me awake its the bleedin mother in laws moaning, seriously if it was an olympic sport then great briton would be winning gold with no problems.

midwife has just been she said isla dosent look overly yellow at all and her tummy is looking fine from where her cord came off. her little eet are so bruised from where she was having bloods taken every six hours bless her. and if my damned mother in law dosent leave her to sleep i swear im going to swing for her.

allegidly my house is a mess so she has now been taken out by hubby to get some storage boxes for the kids bedrooms. oh im sorry i didnt run a marathon like you did during pregnancy, ohhh you ad it worse than me didnt you i forgot, spd...ohh its all made up, yeah honest i just fancied sitting on my fat !!! for a few weeks. honestly that woman lol

i think i might stick isla outside in her pram for an hr. she is fast asleep and the fresh air will do her good.

i need to re think the moses basket thing because once the pram goes outside i dont want it in the living room on my new (ish) carpet. i could clear the coffee table and bung one on there i spose.

ohhh i am so good at moaning :)

Have a good moan lovecrafting. She sounds adorable does your mother in law. How long is she stopping for?
My ex MIL was an utter pain in the !!!!. Every conversation was like mastermind and the Spanish inquisition put together. On top of that she worked in a nursery and thought she was Supernanny. In reality she was just a knob!!!! Can't say I'm sorry to not have to deal with her anymore.
Is this the same woman who crashed into your hire car or have I got that completely wrong??

Elelyn - id just go for the pram while the offer is on. I think they will hold delivery back for you if you ask but you will still get the discount. And if you change your mind then that doesn't matter either if you havent received it yet.

she is going home on tuesday. she was going today but because we have the boys next week she wanted to spend some time with them before she goes, i tell you she makes one more smart !!! comment about how her milk was perfect and my milk clearly isnt then i am actually going to lamp her. no it wasnt me with the hire car hun it was someone else, she paid for our car and we will never hear the end of it. its all good tho i am taking great pleasure in disgusting her with my behaviour like making sure i go outside for a smoke at least once an hr (leaving the door open, cardinal sin im telling you) and actually cooking food because im sure my kids have lived on mc donalds happy meals for the last week.

She sounds a barrel of laughs. I think I'd have took to the bottle by now.
Maybe if she comes back with a big enough storage box it could be her temporary home until Tuesday. Put a pic on FB if you manage it!!!

Elelyn mothercare do a babyplan. We were in a similar position at Xmas. I had a 10% off voucher and had also been told by the sales assistant the buggy was going up by £100 the following week.
You in effect place an order at the current price and you get your 10% discount. You pay a deposit of 10% and a one off admin of £10. No credit fees. All you then do is pay the balance of 10 days before your requested delivery date. If you change your mind I am sure they said it can be transferred onto another item.
Even when I went to pay it off they had an offer to get the car seat free so the sales assistant checked that offer to make sure we were getting the best deal.
