I'm still here :( and I'm starting to get worried about being induced tomorrow. I know in my logical brain that its going to be okay and theres no other option but its all so final. He will be here Sunday evening period whether through the front door or the roof, he will be here.
I'll be taking various bits of electronics in with me so should be able to update the thread when something happens (hour by hour updates lol). I think I just need a slap and to be told to get on with it. I'm not normally this emotional, honestly being pregnant has allot to answer for.

I'm sure you will be absolutely fine safesound.
I would say it would be more weird if you weren't anxious about it. I will look forward to the updates and hope you get your little bundle as soon as possible.

So, I'm trying to make sure I'm ready for the girls so I can really kick back and relax. Only thing left really is to put the bedding on the cots, put last last few bits in my hospital bag, get top & tail bowl/baby bath, get baby monitors.

Questions for you ladies, how soon after the babies are born do you think its reasonable to take the girls on holiday. Is 4 months too soon? I'm thinking long hall flight but should I just stick to short haul to start? I'm desperate for a holiday!:o

Hello! Congratulations on starting your break. You are much better organised than me. I know I will be jumping the queue too, just hope that not by too much. I don't have bath either, or baby monitor. I still need one more cot and probably few more blankets, towels, etc. I am still looking for the feeding pillow in eBay, and haven't chosen a hospital bag either. Have you got one yet?

I am quite keen on having a short break from the house as well, probably about end of August/September time. It is not just a holiday, but also proving to myself that I am not completely house bound and we can do things. I am under no illusion that this would be a hard work, but I think it would be useful.

! I just don't understand how I am going to be able to go from bringing home circa £1300 after tax a month to £500 ish plus child benefit.

Mine will drop from nearly £2300 to the same amount. Not looking forward to that!

I then capped the night off by getting really mad with the Opera mum on OBEM as she seemed to use the whole program as a promotional gig for her singing.... I was shouting at the TV at one point.... erm, hormonal much?

She was as annoying last night as she was the first time!

    Good luck Flutterby!

Congrats on the birth of baby girl, Goppers!

    Boo everyone!!!!!!!!

Well what a few days! Not in a position to do a birth story yet, and not read back either - if some helpful lovely person could tell me when I last posted (what page) that would be fab, fab, fab!

As you all know now, baby Isabella Harriet Clarice arrived on Wednesday night - the 4th of the 4th (like the date) as healthy as can be, but gave her mummy a bit of grief.

Sorry to those affected for queue jumping, I was in no way expecting to - I thought as you all knew that this Wednesday coming was going to be our date!

It is surreal but the most amazing thing ever being a mummy and I am floating, until my stitches remind me not to lol! x x x x

Hi everyone, im really sorry i have tried to read back but its all a bit hectic here at the moment, i will try tonight to have a good read if my mother in law shuts up for long enough for me to actually read it.

as you know isla was born on the 30th at 34+4 then the most frightening wek of my life started. (well since last time that is) she was born in the early hrs after i was induced by the consultant (i only went for a bloody scan) then we went dow to whats known as a transitional ward, it is where preterm babies that dont need special care go, but her condition deteriorated and she needed to get into special care as soon as possible, so off she went. I will post more in detail when i do my birth story. she was on the list at one point for a blood transfusion and needed alot of phototherapy for her jaundice, she still has jaundice and may need to go back on the list but at least she is home now. it got to the point where we thought she was going to die but she recovered nicley and is now fragile but well enough to be home.

thank you so much for all of your best wishes i cant tell you how much they have helped me in the last week, just knowing people are there for you when you need them. I will post a picture once everyone who needs to see her first has seen her.

ok i will be back tonight, thanks everyone (and sorry for que jumping)
