Not read back properly yet, and im about to be kicked off the poota so may not get chance for bit, but can see a few well wishes so thanks for those - this is still me

Congratulations to all the new mummies :beer: and good luck safesound, I was induced for both my boys and fully expect to be with this one.

Headed out for the first time in ages last night and caught up with some regulars from the pub which was lovely, It was also the first time of going out and not having to hide my bump which made me so much more relaxed :cool:

Horrible weather here, hope the sun is shining on some of you somewhere

Feel like I have been booted repeatedly in the inner thighs. Thought I must have pulled tendons or muscles or something but looking the symptoms up online it seems to be SPD or pelvic girdle pain.

Have any of you been affected by this and is it as scary as wikipedia makes out - i.e crutches etc? Haven't seen midwife about it yet, but think it must be that. ouch:(

Gyothec There are different levels of SPD some/a lot of ppl can cope and hobble others do need crutches/wheelchair if it's very severe. I've got hyper mobile hips already so they'll get even "looser" so I'm at high risk of SPD. But already started Physio to try and prevent further damage. I stopped reading too much tbh as I was getting in a tizz. Speak to you midwife and if she thinks it may be the beginning try and get yourself referred to Physio now. Pilates or aqua aerobics is also good to strengthen the joints. not sure if that really helps. But google will not be your friend here. I was reading medical journals on studies on SPD and that wasn't good either. Maybe ignorance is bliss?

Am going for my scan in a bit. Always get a bit nervous. Better start drinking my water, and get dressed I guess lol.

Mines the opposite side. Buttock stabbing agony - lower back pain and mega hip pain. Mentioned to midwife on Weds and she gave me some exercises to do. Failing those working I wil be referred to physiotherapist. Quite scared of the crutches-wheelchairs etc myself too!! :eek:

Oh good lord it's been an action packed few days on here.

Firstly, lovecrafting, I'm so glad that you and little Isla are home safely and that she is as well as can be. I hope the jaundice continues to improve and she doesn't give you any more scares. What a heartbreaking time you must have had but I'm sure your family and your strength of character got you through. Ive definitely missed your humour young lady.

Now Snoopy, how adorable is your little girl. I gather she gave you a hard time but I'm sure you wouldn't change it for the world. Congratulations to you and your OH and I assure you im a stalker for life not just pregnancy!!! Hehe. Try and get some rest when you can as you must be tired but I imagine you just lie there staring at her after the journey you have had. Yay for mini Snoopy!!!

I presume Flutterby is probably getting her cuddles as we speak. I hope she is ok and i wonder whether it was a boy or a girl!

Safesound - I hope you are getting on ok and that your little man makes his appearance sooner rather than later.

Emsbet - did you get a good nights sleep in the swanky hotel? What are your plans for today?

Mishka - good to see you are on the list. Im so glad you can now relax a bit.

Triangle - heartburn was just horrendous last night. And on top of the curry I had an awful night. Think i was still awake at 6am!!! Boo!!

I hope I haven't forgotten anyone but my brain is pickled this morning. I had an awful night and feel like a zombie this morning. Callum is going out with his dad this afternoon so I'm going to try and rest if possible. I was in tears during the night with backache and eventually must have bored myself to sleep. Need to get myself right for Easter Sunday as I have a stash of Easter Eggs to gobble. Anyway, I'm sure I've bored you all half to death with this mahoosive post but I can't help being a chatterbox.
