    Happy due date ravenlady :)

I have the day off today and really need to start calling up job agencies. I hate phoning though, would much rather email but that's probably not the best idea :o Not sure how optimistic I am at finding anything. I'm going to go for temp work because I don't think anyone would want to hire me in a perm position if they know I'm pg and although I know I legally don't have to tell them yet but I don't think I could accept a permanent job then turn round and say "surprise I'm pregnant!"
Not sure how much temp work there is out there at the moment. We could manage if I didn't find anything bUt I'd hate to have to ask DH for money everytime I needed something :o Oh well I won't know until I try.

    xx

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Triangle  Your husband sounds like a star!! Enjoy your treat xx

Was on the Bounty Due in April forum yesterday and was suprised to see people talking about having a fake tan and false nails done ready for giving birth!?!? Each to their own but I dont think all the fake tan and false nails in the world would make me look any better while giving birth - I'll just be pleased if I dont poo myself :rotfl:

I still cant figure out what I want to wear in labour. I was wanting a water birth but I guess that will depend on if I am still under Fetal Medicine care at the time. Hoping that we will get discharged after our scan on Monday then I can get my birth plan sorted

Lol at the poo thing! I feel exactly the same! I haven't told DH that its possible for that to happen. I'm hoping that if it does then the midwifes will just deal with it and he (and hopefully me too) will never know!!

I have bought a strappy nightie for labour as I tend to get very hot when I'm in pain. i'm also taking my bikini top (if it still fits!) and a big old t-shirt incase I decide i'd like to labour in the pool. I won't be delivering in the pool though as it'll be too hard for DH to avoid seeing what's going on! I'd be surprised if the problems you've been having were used as a reason to not have a water birth, nothing was ever mentioned to me about maybe having to do things differently but fingers crossed you'll be discharged on Monday anyway.

Last day in work!! Feel like I could keep going as pregnancy hasn't been problematic at all, but I'm due Thurs so might be pushing my luck, lol!

My cousin's wife had a birthing pool, she ended up naked said she didn't care by the end. I'm gonna take a vest or tankini top 2 wear in the pool.

I made sure my OH knows it can happen so he isn't shocked if it does. I'll have to get him a little fishing net to take with us!!

The only reason I wouldnt be able to use the pool would be if they had to monitor baby. At my hospital they dont have the equipment that can monitor you under water, though they do at the other local maternity hospital (which I may end up being sent to any way as the one we chose is having to close at least once a week its so busy!!) Was thinking I might just see if I can change now anyway as I really have my heart set on a water birth

Happy Birthday Triangle!!! (non alcoholic of course!)

Whoop, last day Lola, hope they give you a good send off! :j

Last night my lower back was aching something rotten and then in the night I had really bad achy pains across my bump and back which almost took away my breath ... there I was hoping the acupuncture had started something. By morning though the pains had gone again and barring a slight achy back I am feeling as I usually do :o

Off to the MW now for a sweep, only problem is I can't remember the appointment time so I might have to wait about for it. They're usually pretty good, they see people in order of arrival as everyone is in/out in 5-10 minutes.

Fingers crossed my lovely MW is back!

Labour vibes to all that want them and hugs to all that don't ;)
    Icey xx
