Oh Chinese sounds lush. Now you got me thinking.
Well I've just nearly gone into early labour. Looking in my local paper I saw a full size picture of my sperm donor of an ex telling the world how his company has gone bankrupt and how he doesn't know what he is going to do with his life. Haha...karma is my friend today. On closer inspection of the picture i truly hope that the baby has my looks. Good grief, love is definitely blind!!! Is it wrong that has made my day!!! Yes it was a bit of a shock and my heart temporarily went a little fast but then I just giggled.
I'm glad you are feeling better Sammie. This pregnancy lark is definitely a roller coaster.
I've finished work now so am able to just relax and get everything in order which is a weight off my mind.
I currently can't decide if I need a baby bath or not? Random I know.DS1 born June 2000

Thanks it definatly is a roller coaster!! I think my boys just want their mum back now instead of some shrieking whale women!!
I bought a baby support thingy from asda instead of a bath I think it just sits in the big bath, then my brother gave me his baby bath!! Are you going to get a top and tail bowl or not? I'm still undecided as to whether I will need/use one. Xx:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

I don't understand this top and tail thing. What are they actually for and do you need that and a bath?
I am very worried about giving the newborn a bath. I remember Callum being so wriggly and slippery and me and his dad used to work as a team and do it together in the first few weeks. The thought of doing it myself without dropping him it exposing him to hypothermia is freaking me out a bit. In sure it's quite easy but it is a little worry of mine.
Yes mine will be glad when I'm not a hormonal wreck anymore. He doesn't know whether in going to laugh or cry and when I do either and tell him I dont know why I am he just looks at me like im a complete oddball. Which to be fair.....lol

That's why I bought a bath support as it just sits in the bath and baby sits in it, obviously I would still support baby myself but I'm hoping it won't make it so slippery when bathing on my own. I had a top and tail thingy with ds1 but ended up using it for a car feeder for a stray kitten!! don't think I'll bother this time!! Xxx:)DS1 10yrs

I treated myself to a couple of new plastic mixing bowls from Wilko for 79p for topping and tailing, we just don't have the space for any large plastic items! We did buy a bath but only cos we only have a walk in shower, that said I've seen a wee baby shower seat which we might upgrade to as I get more confident about babycare!
Glad to be home from work, decided to take tomorrow off to go and see my gorgeous godchildren and have a slightly longer weekend away from the place!0 -
Hope you enjoy your break amymo. How old are your god children? Xx:)DS1 10yrs

Amymo - hope you enjoy your day tomorrow and your longer weekend. Your baby shower seat sounds well cool. I've never heard of one of them.DS1 born June 2000

It's one of these, my friend uses it in the shower but I want to check whether that's safe, I guess we have a large enough shower but I'm concerned about making sure the thermostat is safe, she's used it in the shower since day one though.
