Tablets - i take the healthy start that my midwife gives me, have taken them everyday and am 37 weeks tomorrow. Folic acid can be taken everyday, i asked my mw.

Hair - i have had mine done at the hairdressers, bleached included, about 3 times now, again this is perfectly safe.

Fluid - i am bad and prob don't drink enough either - the guide is 2 litres for everyone, so i guess being pregnant it prob sounds about right being 3 litres although i don't but lately i have been very very thirsty - was in hosp over the weekend with anemia and dehydration so let that e a rule for you....i am trying to drink more * hurrys off to kitchen for drink *

No idea re the pain, stretching? Have you done more than usual?

Hope you are ok though and still smiling from yesterday emsbet :)

    Thanks for the information.

The pain was a sharp stabbing pain that lasted 5-10 seconds each time. I guess it must have been stretching as it wasn't constant and seems to have stopped now.

I'm ok, I am still smiling and trying to push away any naughty negative thoughts that try to creep into my mind :o I'm excited by my already expanding tummy and also eagerly awaiting the return of my energy levels ;)

Dizzi sorry you had a crap time today.

    xx

I was awake at 5 this morning so I decided to look into pregnancy pillows. Found a couple on eBay so thought I would bid. One of them ended today and I've won, the second one ends tomorrow and I'm currently winning so it looks like I could end up with two! :o I told DH and he said he'd have one! :rotfl:

Hugs to everyone having a rough time.
Dizzi sorry your midwife appointment was pointless. I've had a couple of appointments late, my 28 week obstetrician appointment is at 29 weeks because they couldn't fit me in but my midwife has given me the forms for the 28 week blood tests so I can get them done by going to the path lab at 28 weeks and hopefully get the results when I see the obstretcian.

Had another generally pants day today :( Found blood in my underwear last night and more this morning so called my MW expecting some reassurance that spotting is normal and instead got a 'call the delivery suite and ask to be seen'. The hospital was great and had me in to trace the foetal heart beat - of course it took over an hour to get a 20 minute trace because baby didn't want to stay still :p
Had an internal and baby is fine :)

They couldn't find the cause of my bleed but took cervical swabs.
The midwife noticed I was scratching (I hadn't noticed) and when I said I'd been itchy for a few weeks she spoke to the doctor and she decided to get a liver function test done in case I have obstetric Cholestasis. It can take a few weeks to get the results so it looks like I'll get them when I see the obstetrician in 2 weeks. Really hope it's not but I guess I cannot do anything until I get the results :s

The staff were great and reassured me that I wasn't bothering them and if I noticed any changes I should call them again.
The best thing is baby is OK :)

I've also mislaid my wedding ring and cannot find it anywhere :( It's got to be in the house but cannot find it. In 5.5 years I've not mislaid it for more than a few hours however I've not seen it since Monday :(

Oh MrsManda what a day you have had. Best that you got these things checked out and it sounds like you were looked after.
I had dreadful itching with my first child but they never found the cause but luckily it hasn't come back this time.
I hope you find your ring soon
