We are stuck on the whole naming issue too, it feels like everything I like, he hates and vice versa lol
I like traditional sounding names like Joshua, Thomas etc. I also love the names Lucas, Elliott (cousin has son called this so this is ruled out) and Zach but OH hates them all
He likes names I like to call 'older man names' as in they will sound ok when the child is a fully grown adult but not really when they are a baby/child.... last night we were discussing it and he came up with (in all seriousness) Percival.... I didn't really know what to say to that one :rotfl:
On another note, he has just text me and said that his boss has just offered him 100 cloth nappies free that she no longer needs - he said obv. he has turned her down . I have text back to tell him not to turn them down and to bite her hand off for them (not literally ofc) but it has got me thinking, 100 nappies is very MSE given the price of them and the cost saving over the years... would you have taken them?0 -

No, midwife came today and she said if it hasn't improved by Thursday he will have to go back in for radiotherapy. He looks almost orange.0 -
Had a wedding at 35 wks which is not that fun when everyone else is getting drunk. Constant jokes about don't go into labour today, wouldn't it be funny if u go into labour etc!
Did enjoy it though, the biggest pain was trying to buy a nice dress or tent!!
I'm gonna be 39+1 when I go on maternity, just have a gut feeling this bun is gonna slow roast 4 a bit longer!!Got married 13/11/10

Hi all, I'm new here so just wanted to introduce myself. I'm pregnant with my second child, who is due on the 14th June, which also happens to be my son's 2nd birthday! I would add myself to the edd list but a bit worried about doing it wrong and messing your nice tidy list up!
I'm a stay at home mom and looking for ways to earn money from home or make savings so that my husband can cut down on working overtime a bit!
hi and congratulations!!! :j:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

Amy - I'm clueless with the list but sure someone will add you on. Welcome.
Sammie - glad your appointment went well, not long to go now.
Jovi - sounds like you have a battle on your hands with the OH and names. I can see why you don't want Percival though. Not a name I would pick as I think they would go through life been called Percy the Pig. Mind you, I do like those sweets!!!
Kimberley - hope your little lamb does ok and doesn't have to go back in hospitalDS1 born June 2000

100 nappies! I'd have bitten his hand off! They're quite expensive to buy and if u've got 100 of them u wouldn't have 2 wash that often!
Why did ur OH think u wouldn't want them?!?!Got married 13/11/10

Wow Lola, and I thought I was leaving it late to start leave!! How are you finding it?
We have agreed on names at last; Darcie Ava for a girl and Charlie Eric for a boy. might not be to everyones taste but we like them0
