Thats lovely news Emsbet. So pleased for you :)

Re weddings, I have one to go to in 3 weekends time (I will be 37 weeks) - its in Cornwall and I am in Essex! So not looking forward to that journey!

Amymo I aggree, it does seem very unfair about how care during pregnancy is so different across the county. I feel very lucky where I am (although we dont get to tour the labour ward which I would have liked) but it does seem strange that it is not standardised across the country.

12 more days in the office for me! :) I am working til I am 38 weeks (unless Pip plans to surprise me of course!) but my last week will be working from home and I have a couple of days holiday for the wedding. Time is flying by at the moment!

    Thanks everyone :)

Yeah wedding should be interesting :o it's 90miles away too so there's that journey to factor in. The midwife I saw today said there's no reason I can't go providing I feel up to it and I'm not in labour obviously ;)

Amymo you'll have to let me know if you see any suitable dresses ;)

DH is in a bit of a mood with me as I said a while a go I didn't want to do a big fb announcement so he hasn't put anything. I put a status that I thought was subtle (it was "three's the magic number) but I've already had three messages about it! Oops!

    Glad it went well Emsbet

With weddings and long journeys... I've got one at 38 weeks which will be 6 hours there and back to do - kind of a once-in-a-lifetime shot to see my parents being made Mayor and Mayoress so I'd really like to be there (unless cow-bag cousin is in which case I'm not going), but complicated by the fact that if I end up going into labour - there is no way on this entire universe I'm going near the hospital in their home-city!

The other one we've got to do is right into the Scottish Islands... with a 2-3 month old for a wedding - hubby's best man so we kinda have to go (and want to go anyway) but that's going to be an interesting one!

My friend has a little one called Ellis who is 4 and just the sweetest little thing!! I think it's a lovely name. Xx

My daughter is considering the name Ellis but also likes Oliver so baby still has no name. I'm having to refer to him as little Lamb until she does because it's Lambing season :D

Oh Emsbet what you like. Just tell him he can put one on aswell and then he might be your friend again.
It's easy to say you won't do one but when you are excited, and so you should be, it's easier said than done.
As far as long journeys are concerned, I certainly couldn't do a 2 hr drive that near my due date. I have to pick my son up from school on a Friday and it's a 20 mile round trip that takes over an hour in traffic and that is starting to get to me at 34 weeks. I'm alright when I'm driving but when I get out of the cat it makes me uncomfortable all night. Everyone is different though so hopefully you will all be ok

Hi all, I'm new here so just wanted to introduce myself. I'm pregnant with my second child, who is due on the 14th June, which also happens to be my son's 2nd birthday! I would add myself to the edd list but a bit worried about doing it wrong and messing your nice tidy list up!

I'm a stay at home mom and looking for ways to earn money from home or make savings so that my husband can cut down on working overtime a bit!
