Well, I'm back and all is fine except I have something called Diastasis Recti lol in English it's a separating of the abdominal muscles! Nothing I can do in pregnancy about it apparently and it's not harmful but I have been referred to a Physio. Next appointment is in three weeks

Am going to have some dinner now and then go measure up the rooms for new curtains

Well that's something I have never heard of Jovi. From the name I thought it was something to do with your bottom and nearly spat out my tea. I was wondering how the midwife had found out thus problem...lol.

:wave: scan went great and they've moved me forward a week so exactly 13 weeks today EDD is now 11th September which is 4 days after my mum's wedding :eek:

Hey Laura,

I sympathise, I'm finishing about the same time too, if I'd known when I put my leave in that things would have been so stressful here I would have put in to go a lot earlier!

Charli those classes sound great, I paid to do a relaxation class and loved it, sadly there's a real postcode lottery on maternity care, our LA area only does a unit tour and 1hr BF class, not funding any basic parentcraft or birth classes, it's a real shame and certainly needed (OK I'll get off my pedestal about the state of our country's healthcare now!)

Ah you're here, excellent news Emsbet! my sis gets married just days after our EDD, interesting times eh!? Pleased I have a buddy to talk maternity wedding outfits with!

lol I can see how you came to that conclusion

I had never heard of it either, midwife just said I might experience more back pain than usual towards the end but that the Physio should be able to give me some exercises to help after the birth.. Am not going to worry about it as theres not much I can do about it
