We were the other way, we had our boys name all picked out, but for a girl we've got a list of about 15 as we just haven't found one that makes us both go 'YES - that's it!'

The only thing I definitely know is it can't begin with a C or D so that narrows it down a little bit

I always thought it would be easy to choose a name when I had kids but it is really difficult!! When I was pregnant with my boys and found out the sex I had loads of girls names I liked, now we don't know the sex I don't like any of the girls names I liked before!! :o

    Still no names here...

Well, I have listed our fishtank yet again today on ebay (it is the third time!!!!) and someone bought it within first hour or so, again. However, the buyer is 3 hour drive away!!!!! So, I am not holding my breath - I might end up relisting it again.... We have been trying to sell it for over a month now!

I didn't even realise I was having braxton hicks till my midwife told me she felt a strong one this morning while feeling for babys position! I could feel my tummy going hard sometimes but didn't put two and two together lol

Laura I was the same. When my tummy went hard just thought it was LO moving around. At my last mw she went to listen to the heartbeat and said we will just wait till this Braxton hicks passes. And that was the fist I knew of it.

All the yumyum talk made me want one. Wouldn't be fair to sent oh on a mission as he is intolerant to wheat milk and sugar

We were so sure LO was a girl we had a name sorted. When st the scan we found out it was a boy we had to go back to the books. Think we have settled on Leo and then either James or Alexander as a middle name. Although a friend changed her mind labour so not buying anything personalised at this time.

We've got a list of possible names that we keep tweaking and fiddling with. For ages I loved one name - but I've been teaching a class with a little lady of that name who is five going on fifteen and having to say the same name 973 times in a morning tends to turn you off it somewhat! The other girls' name I adored and kind of wanted to use was Isabella - because my gran was an Isabelle and I've always liked it... but Twilight means they're everywhere so that one's off the list too now!

Occuptational hazard of teaching and working with kids - certain names get permanently associated with various children!
