Thanks for posting your birth story Lucy :) OUCH to the tear  I hope it heals quickly and isn't too sore. I guess it was cos she came so quickly. Glad you had a good experience at the hospital though, sounds great.

Ginvzt - I sent my Mat B1 form to HR about 3 weeks ago and haven't heard a peep from them...not quite so urgent for me though as I'll be staying at work for (unfortunately!) quite a few more weeks yet.

RE glider chairs, we saw this one in a shop, having never considered getting one before - we were planning to use a Poang chair. But OH sat in it and fell in love....he reckons we should get one each! :rotfl: Not as expensive as I thought, either - in the shop it was £150 including the gliding footstool.

Mind you, looks like our loft extension is going to cost a lot more than expected, so can't really afford to buy any non-essentials now :(

Right, must go, meeting DH for drinks after work :)

Ah Gin the nursery looks lovely, we found it easier to buy things once we'd repainted so we had a blank canvas but now there's so much stuff in there, mainly still all in bags and boxes, this weekend I'm having a big baby things sort out, helps with my nesting!

My Totsbots trial pack just arrived, got it half price with a code from a magazine, a friend raves about them, they're so snuggly, all we need now is a LO to put in them!

Thanks for this! I saw it on ebay and a couple of other shops, and it is a good price. How is he back - is it very recline or more upright?

I have seen Boots are selling the Tutti Bambini ones with a good discount, so they are under £150 now, including the stool. Anyone tried/got this one?

Has anyone any experience of the Mio Bambino reusables? I just notice their starter kit on Mothercare is reduced from £99 to £30.

    Hi all

Can I join in? I was 24 weeks on Tues! I am due on 20 June and having a boy (would appreciate it if someone could add me to the list)! :j

Looking forward to chatting (although I don't post every day I am a lurker pretty much every day).

Ginvzt - I never even thought about a dimmer switch for the nursery, but fab idea. Job for Mr L I think :D. Our nursery is coming together. Painting practically done and I am after some sort of wall decorations/stickers too. We have gone yellow (number 2 might be a girl and then we wouldn't have to paint again so keeping it gender neutral :p).

I finally have started to look preggers. Stomach has popped out the last week or so and I have a bump - woo hoo :rotfl:

Welcome Lixi, look forward to chatting with you.
Emmylou - I just love coach trip. They are such randomers on there it's hilarious.
Sammie - I'm upset to find your son never materialised. Never mind, I shall have to use my own and pay him an hourly rate in doughnuts or something similar.
Well I am such a well domesticated person I have managed to dye all callums school shirts a lovely shade of pink. I have questioned why I put them in with a brand new pink towel but haven't come up with any answers apart from the one where I'm actually going mad.
Any ideas how to rectify them or are they fit for the bin?
