Welcome Lixi

I had a very interesting conversation today....apparently there is a period of low birth rate for boys atm.....and its getting worse or something! "they" (whoever that is!) are worried about the future for boys! Wherever this reasearch is, or whoever did this reasearch, i`d like to invite them to join our forum hahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lixi, welcome! I remember reading somewhere about the dimmer switch for the nursery, and it made sense to me. It wasn't very expensive in B&Q, and I got a bit more economical bulb (rating C) from home base for £2.49. The changing of the switch was easy enough, only not helped that all the cables to our sockets/switches are red instead of being different colour for live and neutral, so it is a bit of a guess work, but I managed ok.
Happy days - I managed to dye my wedding veil pink... I bought it second hand on eBay and decide to clean it using the denture tablets, however, they were pink and made the water pink, as well as veil! I managed to save it by soaking in... Oh, pregnant brain! I think it was either vinegar solution, bicarnbonate soda, or different denture tablets that were not pink... I tried it in normal powder, but it didn't work. Only oof those things actually turned nice white again.
I am back from my shopping trip. Went to collect the car seats from Boots, only to be told that only one arrived. It caused some confusion in the shop, manager got in the phone to the call centre, and she personally will check deliveries tomorrow and call me if it arrived, and if not she will log a problem and le me know.
Then went to TKMaxx and got myself a cabin sized suitcase to use as a hospital bag. It is not very cheap, £35, but it will fit Ryanair requirements an was the lightest I could find at 2.7kg. So now I can actually start packing. I might test it tomorrow for my trip to friend's hen's party (only joining for dinner, but staying overnight in a hotel as it is 2.5-3 hour drive).Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Yes Emmylou that research does sound a bit rubbish. There are boys everywhere.

oooh talking about colouring clothes.... a few yrs back, i washed all my dusters in the washing machine. Next load went on, and it was whites. Out came DH brand new England shirt in a lovely shade of yellow!!! It was the only thing that changed colour! Quite why i washed my dusters and didnt just bin them I dont know. However, lesson learnt and I do just that now. I also use it as an excuse to dust less often

Hope u decide on something nice to eat Happy! I`m on the easter eggs again hah! Cant wait to be able to eat a nice big dinner again, a carvery sounds lush right now! xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,

Thanks for this! I saw it on ebay and a couple of other shops, and it is a good price. How is he back - is it very recline or more upright?
I have seen Boots are selling the Tutti Bambini ones with a good discount, so they are under £150 now, including the stool. Anyone tried/got this one?
The back was fairly upright - but I didn't check in the shop to see whether or not it reclined.
That tutti bambini one looks good too though - great price and with the boots points too...! :money: Really tempted but not sure we should...I need someone generous to offer to buy us something!
I'm going to a hen do tomorrow too
Luckily it's my kind of thing - dinner, spa and overnight stay in nice hotel - can't be doing with the whole tutus and night club thing! (especially at the moment!)
Just got back from sainsbury's - got some gorgeous TTD white choc and orange cookies....nom nom nom
Also some hot cross buns which I intend to have for breakfast tomorrow :j

The one I am going to has a canal boat trip from 9am till 5-5.30pm, and then dinner at 7.30pm. I decided not to join the boat trip, as I don't think I would last so long!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
