Hi all,
I'm FINALLY over my cold :j and am feeling quite normal now, but no doubt it won't be long before I catch something else!

Just handed in my MATB1 form and my letter of when I'm going on maternity leave, so with the 3 weeks holiday I've booked beforehand means I'll only have 6 more weeks at work Woohooo!!!! :rotfl: I can't wait, there's so much to do it's unbelievable!

I've got my Glucose test in two weeks which I am not looking forward to, I might have to buy a book to read!

It's all starting to feel quite real, last night I realised that now I'm past 24 weeks I should start to buy all the bits for my hospital bag and then go through all the clothes and give them a good wash.

Oh well, at least it will keep me busy when I leave work!

All yesterday my bp readings were on the high side, and got higher as the night went on until by bedtime it was back up to 145/110, where it still is now. I know I should call the hospital but I'm scared they'll get me down there and it'll be normal and they'll think me a time waster or hypochondriac, as much as I'm scared they'll admit me again.

I would give them a call Dinah just to be on the safe side. So what if they think you're a hypochondriac, what's important is the health of you and your baby. I'm sure they won't think that, you have a history of high BP so they'll want to keep an eye on you. I know staying in hospital isn't fun, I hate it, but if it's the best place for you to be then you should go.

Dinah - i cant see any harm in contacting your midwife if you are worried, im sure she wont think you are over reacting as that is what they are there for, to look after you and baby.

emmylou - any news on mil's results from the hospital yet? hope she is ok.

still in bed at the moment my aim for today is to pluck my eyebrows and cut and paint my toe nails :cool: really trying to keep on top of everything that grows on my body now so i dont get caught out!! i just cant get to "down there" if you know what i mean so im unsure what to do with it!! :eek: i will try my best.

Nope. I fell asleep on the sofa for a few hours, and when I woke up to go to bed, had a proper cramp in the leg. Was going on for probably 10min, the leg was getting funny shaped, but I think I am starting to resort to the fact that these will be going on for the next three months or so now.

Went throughallthe baby stuff this morning, and I have loads of vests/bodysuits, but very few sleep suits. Got my list all marked, maybe we will go to a nearly new sale late today, but not sure yet. Still need to pack for tonight's stayin the hotel, and I was thinking to leave in about 4 hours. Not very well organised, I have to say!
