Oh, and Rups - going from memory only (as there's no measurement in my notes!) I'm sure my 12 week scan (dated 13+3) was also 7.5cm

Lovely bump emsbet, can't believe your 30 weeks, where does the time the go!

Following on from the inappropriate comments when pregnant, last year when I started to tell people at work that I was expecting a work friend said to me 'ohh who's is it?!!' Rather insulting when she knows I've been with my hubby for years!! She also said the first time I took Poppy to work 'I've got you a present but didn't want to give it to you because I thought Poppy was going to die!'

She isn't really a friend any more! :rotfl:

Thanks Jannine :) It is going quickly now! I saw your picures of Poppy on the newborn thread, she's gorgeous! Looks like she's doing really well :)

Grrr at the silly cow from work! It never ceases to amaze me how stupid and insensitive people can be!

    xx

Weight/size is a funny one. I work in a school and at one end of a corridor I was told I was far too small, then at the other end, I was told I was massive.

There is also another pregnant woman there who everyone compares me too. She is carrying her bump really different to me though, so of course we bloody look different!

Candycane, we have a short list of names but I'm still not sure if baby boy's name will be one of them, we haven't really discussed it that much, we probably should have a more serious think but we always seem to end up looking at the silly names and giggling at them instead! :o:)

Does anyone else have days with that much discharge you feel like you have wet yourself? I am haveing one of those days (it's defo not waters don't worry). I had a lot before pregnancy anyway, but my goodness it's just getting silly now!
I have now! I never been much of a discharge person. Means your hormones are all working as they should!! I seem to have 2 or 3 wet days then a few dryer days. But its horrid how you feel you have wet yourself big time and have to go and change.

Does the discharge thing calm down while your breastfeeding/finishing up breastfeeding? I think the blood loss afterwards should be enough, I can't cope with this amount of discharge for ages afterwards as well. It's just bloody annoying. Ha ha.

Good to hear someone else gets distracted by laughing at the ridiculous names Emsbet. Doesn't help that I have an American baby name book so the list of them is longer than the normal ones.

RebekahR - I don't engage this woman in conversation she can kind of have a conversation with herself so I just leave her to it. Years of practice with my mum doing the same thing helps

Mine for whatever reason (don't even think it is a US book!) decided I'd love to know a whole stash of native american names, as well as african-american ones, as well as a smattering of some far-out European countries. And, for instance, doesn't mention that you might wish to reconsider calling your kid Adolf, no matter how much you might like it.
