A 'friend' who is pregnant with her 2nd child said to me after finding out I was pg (from her hubby who my OH accidentally told at 8 weeks excitedly as he couldn't keep it a secret) 'Oh but aren't you worried you could have a MC?'
Er yes of course I am worried, who said I wasn't? But thanks, now i'm thinking about even more than I was before!!!! Grrr:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
I'm nowhere near as well endowed as you ladies, but have you tried non-underwire sports bras? I can't take underwire as the wire always digs into my tissue by the arms, so 90% of my bras are either non-underwire to begin with or are de-wired when I get home
My chest is definitely expanding though (both the cup and the chest itself) - I've got one sports bra which has hooks on the side and I can't do those up anymore!
 I think if I did that (removed the wires) I think my boobs would drop out underneath! :rotfl:
My sister who's also reasonably large chested ended up with sports bras by the end of her pregnancy. My issue is the lack of separation/compression that I get with a DD+ sports bra. I don't mind my boobs being pushed together and squashed in when I'm at the gym as it stops them from bouncing about and hurting, but I couldn't wear one all day. The same issue with the non wired bras I've tried, they sort of push your boobs together like they're on a shelf, and I get all hot and stickyI tend to wear balconette/full cup bras so I'm used to the wire coming up at least halfway and keeping my boobs seperated. Since you can get wired DD+ nursing bras now, I think I'm going to stick with them, although I won't buy them until 1-2 weeks before due date.

I have come tote conclusion that good support bras don't exist.
I was a 32/34 g-h before pregnancy I'm now wearing a 38f. It's not comfy but it's the best I could find. It's a debenhams one. Bravissimo are great at measuring but all they stock is non moulded granny pregnancy bras. Due to the sheer weight of my chest I have always needed molded cups.love you lots like jelly tots0 -
Knew I should have snoped it first
I am still in my normal bras and thankfully haven't gone up a size still 36HH/J
I have found that when I am having a particularly sensitive day my Bikini swimming tops work well.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

I am indeed. And counting down the days...I'm nowhere near as well endowed as you ladies, but have you tried non-underwire sports bras?
The problem with sports bras is that (because I'm quite top heavy) I tend to wear V-neck tops to work, otherwise it looks like I have a shelf halfway up my torso - and sports bras come up quite high so you can see them.moneypenny21 wrote: »Sa-ra-ra-ra - If you can pass on the info to me about good support bras I'd be so grateful. 36FF before the bambino and definitely gone up at least one cupsize already...22 weeks to go  who knows what I'll look like by the end?!
Right, I've just been measured and I'm a 40E  I have done some research on other forums and t'interweb, and have found that there are some bras which are recommended because they give really good support, and others which have been designed for pregnant people but still have some underwire.
The ones that people tend to recommend are the Anita range, and the Hotmilk range. There were a couple of recommendations for the Elle McPherson Intimates maternity range but not so many - I wear the standard version of those bras normally and they're great, but they don't go up to my size at the moment so I won't be getting any of those.
I have just purchased a Hotmilk non-underwired one, and an Anita underwired. I will report back once I have them0 -
No comments really this time apart from when I tell people I am pregnant and they all ask Just one? I hate saying Just one or only one as she isn't a just anything.
I now pre-empt them by saying "a little girl this time" no just or only involved.
Saw a friend last night who we haven't told and she didn't guess either. 29+ and can still hide itI didn't mean to not say anything but the opportunity didn't really come up.
Good luck with your GTT today (think it is SM but not sure brain hasn't clicked it today), I had mine yesterday and did my x stitch in the waiting area for 2 hours... hopefully it is the last one I will have to do for a while.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

hello all. how are you?
stayed at home today as have been really exhausted and DH is wfh today too. hehe. I am not even chatting to him and letting him work. do feel a bit naughty about it but i so needed to just stay in bed. Then he woke me up when he woke up! feel bit refreshed though.
Just booked my practical driving test and paid 92 pounds for it! i better pass the damn thing!
was reading your comments about bras. I always go to bravisimmo too and when i went for a new measuring, she did suggest this brown one that she recommends to pregnant women. will try find a link and post it. its underwired. i did read somewhere recently that undewired bras should be avoided as they interfere with formation of milk ducts? this bar is so comfy and i bought it at 6 weeks and am still wearing it. was thinking about going to marks or mothercare to see if should switch to non-wired. i am also quite big at the top. luckily DH likes it. phew. just hope i dont get backaches because of them!
might pop into next to check out maternity stuff as my work stuff is all tight now.
can i ask a question please? is it stil normal to get period type cramps at 15 weeks? i am having some now. keep feeling belly to check that little bubba is ok, but i cant really tell can i?
ohh talking of people saying stuff: last night i rang my mum and she said to be very careful what i eat, as from my 13 weeks scan the baby looks big (7.5cm) and she said i dont want to end up getting too big or i will have problems. gee. thanks mum.
also a woman at work the other said she was going to ask me how come i had put on weight? stupid people. i am sensitive about weight anyway but i said i have a good reason. ruuuudee!!
ok am hungry now. haha xxxBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I am also not as lucky as you ladies in the bra departments! I'm still only sat on a 38B ... Once bump drops im sure i'll go back to a 34. And once boobs sag post breastfeeding i'll be a 32AA.... *Sob*
This actually leads me on nicely to my next question ... I will be getting measured for feeding bra's in the next week. And plan to go to mothercare. Are there any voucher codes hanging around that I can use? Got nothing in my inbox from the meaniesGuessing I will be paying over £30 :-s ...

Not really inappropriate, but one of my colleagues has some very odd ideas about having children (she does have one). So far I have been told
- Breastfeeding is weird and unnatural. It may not be for everyone but unnatural is about the only thing you can't say against it.
- In response to telling her we were going on holiday about a month before the baby arrives she told me to make the most of it as we wouldn't be able to have a holiday like that again for many years. Which would be fine if we were going clubbing in Ibiza but we're only renting a cottage in Devon
- The oddest one - would we think of moving to a detached house because you never know what your neighbours in a semi are up to and that isn't good once you have kids. !!!!!!?0 -
ohh i think have a look on vouchers.co.uk. sometimes they have stuff on there for mothercare.
DH has annoyed me. went to speak to him for a brief moment, and his attention was on Youtube. annoying!!! i am in a sulk now. lol
better eat and go out otherwise he will drive me mad - hormonal. i am on strike for washing up as i am fed up and things pile up so quickly!! grrBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
