SM, the GTT is like flat cheap cola hun. Have you tried the different flavours of lucozade? I can't stand original but like orange, blackcurrant and apple flavour.

Slow day here, looks miserable out, at least I don't have to go out for a while till this meeting with work at 4. Ugh.

Have decided for my birthday I would like a chest of drawers and the Clarins Mother-to-be and New-Mum Pampering Face & Body Treatment from here now I just need to convince my family to chip in lol x

Hi All!

I've been a bit quiet recently - work has been exceedingly stressful. On the up side, only 85 working days left...!

Hope everyone's feeling well, as always, labour vibes to the boldies and I hope that fiddle around got everything going for you fluffnutter, sounds like it might have done!

I've started feeling baby moving a lot more recently, which has been lots of fun - loads more flutters, wriggles and a couple of definite kicks! I'm sure the novelty will wear off at some point but at the moment it's fun.

I need some advice - my bras have recently become the most uncomfortable things to wear in the whole wide world ever.

I'm rather top heavy - without pregnancy I'm a 38DD, so I dread to think what I've gone up to (I'm being measured later today) but does anyone have any recommendations for maternity bras? I know there are a couple out there with underwire, which I'm quite interested in, but generally I need GOOD support, preferably with a nice shape.

37 weeks here and the novelty of baby kicking has definately not worn off. Infact I am feeling sad that I am so close to birth and will miss that movement inside when she is here. It's something special between me and her. All those little movements often make me cry as it's so wonderful. Yeee sentimental old fool LOL. The only time I don't like it is when she stamps on my cervix and it feels like an elastic band twanging on bare skin down there and does make me scream and tense up at the pain. Agony. But then deep inside I think thank goodness she is moving though I would be so upset if she wasn't lol.

emsbet - hope you sort out your carpet it might be your super sensitive nose? Something in my dry store cupboard knocks me sick every time I open it - it never used to!

I'm also v top heavy, and have so far gone from 36FF to 38G, but these bras are starting to feel tightish so planning to go and get measured again. I always go to Bravissimo, as every time I've been measured elsewhere it's been a disaster. Last time the fitter told me that I could stay in underwires as long as I felt comfortable - their guidance is that as long as the wire isn't pressing on breast tissue it shouldn't cause any problems. I check every 2-3 days at night that the imprint of my wires is not on the breast tissue, but on the flat part of my chest/ribs. I tried some non-wired ones last time I was fitted, and I'm keen to avoid them for as long as possible, especially as the selection is so poor for larger cup sizes I also really rate their pj tops with inbuilt support, probably better than a sleep bra for larger ladies, although sadly they don't make a nursing version. I have emailed them to suggest it though!;)

Sara-ra-ra I am still in normal underwired M&S bras. I was measured as 32E in mothercare who then told me they don't sell either 32 or E. I think as long as it fits well and is comfy that is as good as I am going to get. I am not a 32 though, was before and nothing would do up. My boobs have stopped at this level for the last few weeks at least.

Emsbet, lovely blanket. I have bought some material from Ikea and plan to put a strip along the bottom of the blind, make a lampshade and maybe some cushions, but you have inspired me to make a blanket too. I am knitting too - but keep running out of the right colours so nothing is finished.

I'm also 38G and still wearing non-maternity underwired bras - just a bigger size (was 38FF before). Non-wired bras are horrible - I bought a few for breastfeeding and they do give some support but nowhere near as much as the underwired ones. They do not go between my breasts and just feel like I'm wearing a t-shirt, if that makes sense. But still, baby is due next week so I had to get them and I am not really planning on going out much in the next couple of months so they will do the job.

I'm nowhere near as well endowed as you ladies, but have you tried non-underwire sports bras? I can't take underwire as the wire always digs into my tissue by the arms, so 90% of my bras are either non-underwire to begin with or are de-wired when I get home My chest is definitely expanding though (both the cup and the chest itself) - I've got one sports bra which has hooks on the side and I can't do those up anymore!
