We got angry with the books and through them across the room, they are either in storage or the charity shop now.

No idea on names, everything I suggest gets vetoed and vice versa.

With regards to discharge, every now and then I have so much that when I wipe I slip and almost do damage.

i end up worrying about sleep positions too. the sides get umcomfy and i never know if i am lying on the side 'properly' you know? this morning was on my back somehow! :(

Rups don't worry about sleeping positions. My physio said that we should sleep the way we like and that our bodies will tell us when it's no longer ok to sleep on your back.

I tried sleeping on my left side from the moment I found out I'm pregnant but always woke up on my back until ca 32 weeks and that was fine. I'm now 38+6 and can't be on my back for longer than a few minutes as I'm suffocating - as a result my body knows to stay on its side.

So I think you're fine on your back but if you want to sleep on your left side then why don't look at underbelly pillows. I've got one shaped like a wedge of cheese and it's brilliant.

I can't use underbelly anything. It's much more comfy for me to half lie on my belly. Baby doesn't seem to be suffering for it. It's funny how all our bodies respond differently.

Twinklie - my belly is too heavy and without the pillow I FEEL my belly's weight and muscles being pulled and stretched. It's really uncomfy.

Oh, I lie on my belly because I can't lie on my side my bump its too heavy and my hips hurt, can't lie on my back because I can't breath and I can't lie on my front for obvious reasons. It's a bit of an odd position.
I just can't cope with even a thin pillow/folded blanket under my bump. Its just too uncomfy.

Twinklie, I don't envy you - you don't seem to have much of a choice when it comes to sleeping positions. My hips hurt too from lying on my side but it started not long ago and I don't have long to go so am going to persevere.

Thanks for your lovely comments ladies. it gets so annoying when people say you are big or you are small. can't win hey? i am just going to learn to enjoy being big or whatever and if the midwife addresses it, i shall then deal with it. :)

I went out for a bit into Croydon and hated it. got tired after 2 hours so came back. wore my top from newlook and as its loose, i felt weird and felt my bump really wasnt there, but i suppose thats maternity wear hey? :) i was shocked at the number of shops that have such ltd maternity wear though. i saw online that Next did it, and when i went in they said they have stopped it as they dont sell as much. :( so have to go online. new look have a bigger range online too and bloody mothercare in croydon has shut down. i went into debenhams and saw the same range as in london, but they had a few more dresses and one sort of trousers. i need a pair of trousers for work. its so hard. then i went into H&M and their trousers have never fitted me well so i struggled fititng into a chino type thing. and ended up buying more tops.. not a big choice anywhere. i might just order from next or something and then try them. what a pain!

if i ever get bored, and want to start a business, i think i will be doing a maternity one. :rotfl: am tired now. hehe

oh regarding sleeping positions, would a normal pillow stuck inbetween the legs at the knee/thigh help while sleeping sideways? poor us women. the things we have to go through.

sarara is it even worth it if i go into Alders? do you know if they do maternity stuff? i was shocked to see that Pumpkin in the centre had shut down. :( they had a massive sale before they did and i missed it as i hardly go to town. :(

I can't sleep with a pillow between my legs, only a small folded up blanket. I promise you I've experimented with the lot. :rotfl: But I'm comfy and baby is happy so I'm not fussed.

Thank you for the help with the tesco clubcard vouchers. We're not due till mid-Oct and not planning on using them for anything else so will hang on to them and watch their website in case I can double them to buy the pram.

    - love the blanket and the bump! Not sure if you tried this for removing smells... White vinegar is great! All you need to do is get a bottle of the cheapest bottle you can find, pour it in a bowl and leave it in the room for a day or so (I normally leave it for about 3 days if the smell is really strong). The room will smell of vinegar for a while but it will soon wear off and so will the original smell. I've been told that leaving charcoal in the room also helps as it absorbs odours but I've never tried it myself...

RebekahR - I'm on your team! 34A/AA (pending where I go) so I'm really enjoying being a B :) even if it'll all come to an end soon...
