Ikkle sounds like they're good at monitoring you though. Hope the pain is a bit better and bloods came back ok. Hugs to you and hope you can rest
money puddle I love that horse, can't believe it's brand new!
Mishka omg I have seen that before on that show. I was cringing thinking NNNOOOOOOOOO! I think I'd smack her with the violin lol, very traumatic!
Feel shattered so really hope I can sleep tonight. Did drink a litre of orange juice, really fancied it, so hoping my reflux won't cause me hassle. Dosing up on antacids and got some at the bedside
Hope everyone has a good nights sleep xxx:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Lol yeah I feel like my wee man thinks my cervix is a trampoline. When I walk he bounces off it lol. His head tries to play xylophone with my ribs and bounces from left right centre. His butt is right by my belly button. I honestly can't see him budging at all.
Yeah I can't take deep breaths at all it actually feels tingly if I try. Silly awkward but very love able babieslove you lots like jelly tots0 -
I really like how we are sharing. We all have our own scares and are not alone in them. It is just natural to fear the unknown. My sister tore and it went halfway up her foo foo but she said she did not feel it. Once you feel the head there you just don't feel it tearing. She said the worst bit was the injection afterwards to mend the tear as it was a deep tear. But if offered take the tear and not the cut with scissors. When you cut yourself with a knife and its straight it doesn't heal well and opens up. But if it's jaggidy and a natural cut it will knit together naturally and mend a lot quicker. I'm a strong believer in nature knows best
We infer with our bodies too much these days and then it's sad that we are left feeling terrified of the most natural thing in the world that ladies have done since the beginning of time
Oi oi - Who removed my soap box I just fell off and hurt myself ... lolol
Speaking of tearing: Better start my perineal massage!!! Gosh 37 weeks I left it a bit too late me thinks!0 -

A late one from me tonight, hope everyone is ok. Just had 17 pages to catch up on and feeling v tired so pls excuse no personals!
Someone mentioned re-useable nappies.... have bought about 20 off ebay in the last week. No idea what makes they were, some are size 1's and some were birth to potty. Hoping I can get on with them as with it being 2 I need to save as much as possible
Just checked when the next NCT nearly new sale is on near me. 17th November. Due date is 18th so pretty sure I wont make that! Gutted, really wanted to go. I would have thought they would be more frequent than that
Went to see Elkie Brooks in Newcastle Friday night (old family favourite!). Babies were enjoying the music it seemed, lots of kicking and movements all evening:T. Though, right at the end, the bass was soooooo loud for a few seconds the whole building seemed to vibrate. Hope I didnt damage poor babies eardrums. Babies went into kicking overdrive then so dont think they were too impressed
To whoever asked about breastpads, I will definitely be making my own. Also been looking into making reuseable wipes and nappy liners. Seems so easy and obviously very very :money:
I did find this online for anyone who wants MSE disposable wipes.... http://www.thefrugalfamilylife.com/2012/01/homemade-baby-wipes.html
Hope you have had a fantastic birthday SM xx
Fluff, hope youre too busy having baby cuddles to read this! xx
I have my 20 week scan on Wednesday and hoping to find out the sexes. Ive been really excited about the scan for the last few weeks but now Im so so nervous. Just hoping I come out of the scan as happy as I have been these last few weeks if that makes sense:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
Hi everyone, hope you are all well.
I'm 30 week's now & absolutely huge.Luckily i've got a growth scan Thursday but have a feeling they are going to say he's on the large side. :rotfl:
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

ikkle hope the pain eases up soon, what a rough time you've had. I'm impressed that you have a midwife to speak to on a Sunday and they monitored you well though. Also hope things are ok with your grandma.
Breast Cancer Survivor you don't look that big to me! I was bigger than that with my daughter, and she was born at 5lb9oz. It was all fluid! Good luck for the growth scan.
sexymouse - belated happy birthday for yesterday. Hope you had a great day.
NCT Sales don't seem to happen very often for my area. The nearest branch is 20 minutes away, and they don't have a sale until the 13th October. Unless I go overdue that is no good.
I was exhausted yesterday evening. I hadn't realised quite how much Wicksteed Park would tire me out. It was a lot more walking/standing than I expected and I can hardly waddle today, let alone walk properly. The kids had a great time though, and that was the main thingI couldn't go on any of the rides, so I took loads of pictures instead.

Having just bent over to pick up something I dropped, is it possible to 'hurt' baby? 17+0 so baby is quite small still but could bending over cause any damage (i.e. broken bones)?
Possibly a silly question but I don't want to think I've done something badLittle man arrived 13 Dec 20120
