Lol mines asleep as he has to be up at half 4 for work but we are going to my NANs for dinner tomorrow which is good cos she is washing some crib bedding for me and I get to bring the crib my mum got us home. Plus I get an extra Yorkshire pud as have to fast after 10pm as got another GTT on Monday morning so shes gonna fill me up lol. X

ah bless. sounds like a fun evening tomorrow. well his bond film as finished so i am going to go and sleep and try and finish revising tomorrow.. gulp! you are up late too?

Lol, had about five pages worth of posts to catch up! Have read everything but have promptly forgot most of it already due to baby brain and tiredness!

So, congrats to the new mummies - hope you are enjoying your mummy cuddles! And welcome to all the newbies!

Saw all the posts re stretch marks - I was using palmers cocoa butter which I LOVE the smell of and I usually buy it when it's on a 3 for 2 in Boots or Superdrug. It's OH's job to put it on and we haven't used it in about 8 weeks now - and still no stretchmarks! I think a few people have said on here that it really comes down to genetics - I think I have a few silvery ones at the side of my tummy, but I had a load of these when I lost weight a few years ago and they've never really bothered me. I do need to use moisturiser more though as my arms keep getting very dry.

Been up for over an hour now; woke up with blocked nose (had it a few weeks now) and as a result had a coughing fit cos my throat has dried out due to breathing through my mouth. Have come downstairs as OH has got to go to work today so needs his sleep. Daft cats got excited when I got up cos they think its feeding time already, lol.

Went out for OH's brothers girlfriends birthday last night (did that make sense?) And they announced that they are expecting! So OH's Dad will have had three grandchildren in the space of a year! The look on his face and his wife's face was priceless! OH and I are not surprised they are expecting - when we announced ours, the girlfriend was very quiet and looked a bit put out and then within a few weeks there was a mad rush to move out of his Dad's place and into their own house so think it's def a planned thing.

Got a fun day of tidying and putting things on ebay; off to B&Q later to get some paint samples for downstairs and for the nursery - yay! We also chose the flooring for downstairs last night, but then worked out how it would cost - ouch! Although OH's Dad has said he will come and help us fit it and he's got someone lined up to do our decorating for us for free so that will save us some money there. Uuuurgghhhh, just glanced over to the dining room and have seen that I have four piles of washing to iron! I don't tend to iron my stuff to be honest - most things the creases just drop out of - but OH doesn't feel the same way!

Been looking at re-usable nappies again this morning - think I have just about decided on the Little lamb ones, although a friend did recommend the Bambino Mio ones yesterday! I have my eye on some sets on ebay - OH is happy for me to buy as I did say if we don't like them/get on with them we can resell them.

Def enjoying my pregnancy more at this stage than any other - not sure why that is but don't seem to have too many 'down' days anymore! I also still feel fairly active so making the most of this whilst I can, although it is my last Zumba class this Thursday - sniff! Still feel ok to teach, but I can't really do some of the moves justice anymore and I think it's prob best for me to bow out at this stage. Especially as last week, baby decided to put pressure right in the pelvic area on the last two tracks and I got slightly distracted! I keep telling OH baby is going to love Zumba and he says only if it's a girl! He won't listen that the creator of Zumba is a very masculine straight bloke! Lol!

I got a list of appointments at my 16 week appointment, it seems you still book them one at a time though. So I've got my scan booked now, and then after that I need to book a 25 week check with the midwife. It is region specific.

Oh my God how did it get to be sunday already. I been full of te cold all weekend. Razor blades in throat, dripoy nose and drowsy head. My final exam is tomorrow morning then road trip to Manchester for a last dirty weekend so to speak lol. So by tomorrow night I shall know wether I have passed my Uni course. Arg. Haven't done enough work as I been feeling so poo so hoping to cram today.

Hope u all well. My wee man is currently kicking the carp out of me lol
