Just got home from posting a letter and Moon noticed a parcel on the doorstep - it was the Philips Avent Natural Baby bottle that you were all talking about earlier. :beer: Have put it in the baby's room with the rest of the pile that's stored in the baby bath currently.:o

Also had a parcel from our friends in Canada (met them online and they were our witnesses at our wedding last year). It had a gorgeous red babygrow in it for Bean to wear as an "honorary Canadian". It's in size 3-6 months but looks teeny, but it'll be ideal for Christmas if he's not too big by then. It has a little reindeer on the front with a maple leaf on its bottom, with "100% canuck" printed on it. SOOO cute! They also sent us a lovely card, and enclosed a cheque for the shocking amount of £150 to buy something bigger for Bean.:eek: They are the loveliest people, and really welcomed us into their family as soon as they met us. It's both their birthdays soon, so I must send something nice to them. Last year I sent them both a fridge magnet with their cards, so need to think of something nice that's still fairly light to send them.

Congratulations ladies and Wwtbr on the birth of your little ones..there's been a rush on since I last posted..and I'm getting rather worried how quick my name is creeping up the list!

Thanks Mishka for setting up FB group and adding me...it's lovely to put faces to names I've seen from TTC thread through to here!

All this talk of hospital bags has me in a bit of a panic...I'm 32 weeks today and haven't started washing baby things or deciding what to take to hosp yet..gonna have to get my act together!
We are sorted for everything else though so I've not much ahead of me left to do.
I'm getting to stage now where I just want to meet baby..I'm sooo impatient and just want it to be here now plus the thought of 5 more weeks at work is filling me with dread!
Baby has been having me on for the past 2-3 days with a drop in the strength of its kicks... They weren't anywhere near as strong as they have been, just like flutters and squirmy movements, and then today it's gone to town kicking me every minute of the day almost! It mustve got fed up of me keep getting my Doppler out to check it was ok lol!

Congratulations rakkibeth, museumworker and triangle glad you can all now enjoy your cuddles :j

to those who have mentioned lack of weight gain, i lost weight without sickness in first 10wks and then didnt go beyond pre preg weight until recently prob about 22wks bump is prominent but can still be hidden under certain clothes so people still dont notice.

sillymoo I have never watched obem either, programs like that have never grabbed my attention and i feel nervous enough without seeing how everyone else does it. I figure if i dont know then if its an easy one its a bonus and if its difficult then i wont know whats coming(pain/needles have huge fear of needles!).

bellola glad your feeeling better since monday, i guess we are all in different situations and it can be difficult at times.

little_miss_moneysaver glad your feeling better, i bet your really looking forward to that scan on saturday, i recorded by last heart beat check up on my phone to share with oh as he was at work. I suprised myself as to how many times I have re listened to it, i think the bear is a nice idea.

Well i think I have now covered everyone since I was last here monday pm, it certainly does move quickly round here. Tuesdays are always busy for me as im out pretty much allday from 8pm to 9pm but not for too much longer as the club i do in the evening is finishing for the summer in a couple of weeks then i will finish work 4wks after that.

Cant believe im number 37 now I only joined this thread last week and have already moved 10+ places. 29+2 now scary.
washing machine has just finished so time to put washing out then have shower and get dressed i guess.

catch up later and hope choclover is now enjoying cuddles

errrrr, I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and have only just started having thoughts of hospital bags, so I wouldn't worry! I don't even have a bag, never mind anything to put in it

On an exciting note - the shop just called and our pram and car seat have arrived in for us to swap with the wrong ones that they delivered yesterday! Woohooo!

Just need to persuade OH that we really do need to go and do that TODAY - shouldn't be too hard as he is desperate to start playing with the pram.

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and am in the same position - no bag, nothing to pack in it (for me, baby clothes are washed and drying).

Had a busy morning - was tidying the mess we created when emptying shelves and drawers to put baby stuff in. Unfortunately after over an hour you can't tell any difference - it looks just as messy as it did :mad:

My objectives for today: 3 loads of washing, put away yesterday's washing once it dries (still a bit damp), make dinner, bake cupcakes (promised DH weeks ago!), start planning hospital bags and start an essay I have to do for my course. Wish me luck with all that - I'm really lazy and getting lazier every day so worried I'll just end up on FB and MSE all day!
