Thanks fluff. Are you taking newborn size only or both newborn and 0-3?

I am worried about the cone head too. Me and my siblings were all born by c-section so we never had that problem. My mum keeps going on about it how it would be good if I had a section too as babies come out without effort and have normal heads.

Just newborn size for the hospital even though I reckon I'm having a whopper. Like MrsBryan I'm taking a blanket too. No socks or scratch mitts though because that's all incorporated in the sleepsuits.

I've done the same, 5 sleepsuits, 5 vests, 2 hats, 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of scratch mittens, 2 blankets....bascially just packed loads! 10 nappies, cotton wool, wipes, bottles, milk, and the kitchen sink. Can never have too much stuff.

    :rotfl:

Looks like I'll end up with two cabin-sized suitcases

Nope, after all you've got 25 weeks to go! ;) We're trying not to buy too much stuff now, as we've got nowhere to store it until we sort out the furniture in the spare room!

theres nothing wrong with this - we brought just a few odd things, waited till our 20 week scan then went out buying

We only live in a one bedroom flat so storage is a problem! We're on the waiting list for a bigger property (not the reason I got pregnant, honest!) but not sure how long that could take. We're trying to sort out the dynamics of having the cot in our room but our room isn't that big!

We want to wait until the 20 week scan just to make sure everything is okay. I'm a worrier!

Nope, not at all. It's worth remembering though, that if you want to shop in store as opposed to online, leave it too late (i.e. 34 or so weeks onwards) and you'll be too knackered to shop! Even more of an issue for you, LM, I'd have thought. Best do it all online. More relaxing, plus if you don't like something you can send it back under the Distance Selling Regulations :D

Online is definitely the way to go for me! lol. I do have my wheelchair when I'm out and DH just loads everything up top of me. The cheek!

I prefer online. I find that there's a bigger variety and I can use cashback websites (ever the MSE'r).:p
