Hey Y'all hope everyone is well. My PMA is back up again and feeling great (well great as I can feel physically
)
Ikkle what you were discussion go the TTC board about conceiving a girl or a boy. It worked for us (not that we were trying for a particular gender) we completely missed ovulation so from the beginning we thought it would be a girl.
It is thought that Girl sperm is slower but lives longer and boy sperm is faster but doesn't live as long. So depending on when you BD at ovulation depends on what gender you will have.
Looks like most of September timed it well

Yeah I'd heard about the timing BD to determine gender before I just couldn't remember which way around it was. We BD'd 2 days before, on Ov and 2 days after and are having a Boy, OH reckons he has super sperm so I'm just gonna tell him he's not they are just lazy lol xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

Hmmm I'd only just started charting my temperatures (literally) - temperature spike was 4 & 3 days after so likely to be a girl...?0

I'm so confused.
I emailed the local CAB just to clarify what will happen with benefits as I'm already on them due to disability and when to tell IS that I'm pregnant and the person said to let them know when the baby is born. However, people have been saying to let them know at 20-something weeks so I'm now confused. :S
The adviser did say that nothing would change though (not due to the baby anyway. I haven't been transferred to ESA yet and that's another worry!)2019 Wins

Not sure, you temperature has to be up for 3 days to confirm ovulation so if you bd and then the next three days your temperature were up I would say boy. If you BD a few days before the temperature rise and not after then girl.
Last time we BD twice on the day of ovulation and ended up with 2 boys

ha ha! we did it every day the week leading up to ov and the week after. we don't know the baby's gender so no idea which day babe was conceived.
I was very very lucky as a relative of mine is a fertility specialist. After my second mc my periods were not regular and my cycles were very long. I was finding this very distressing as I was desperate to get pregnant again.
My relative said she'd scan me through my next cycle and we could see what was happening. So I went on CD 4 for a scan and then a week after.
She measured the follicles on my ovaries and estimated on what day the egg would be released. So we bonked every day for the next 2 weeks! It was a lot of fun. :rotfl:Then I had to go back for her to check that the egg had been released. It looked like it had.
A week later I had a positive pregnancy test. It was amazing - a total dream come true. :j
She snuck me in for a few cheeky scans too before my 12 week scan.
I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. This baby is gonna be smothered with love!0 -
Yes, the first day of the higher temp was 3 (or 4) days afterwards (and temp didn't come down since then, although I gave up measuring after the positive test result!)Kitten_Pie wrote: »Not sure, you temperature has to be up for 3 days to confirm ovulation so if you bd and then the next three days your temperature were up I would say boy.
