Hi everyone,

Sneaking over from 12-24 even though i'm not 24 weeks till saturday. I'm due 13 October.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this. I went Drs on Saturday due to a few issue one being that i've been quiet aching "downstairs" usually when i'm walking, climbing upstairs or turning around in bed. His solution was to take paracetamol regularly, so 1 or 2 tablets 4 times a day. I took 1 monday morning and then another about dinner. It was only later in the day that i noticed baby hadnt moved as much as normal. I was paranoid that it was cause of the tablet, i havent taken any since and baby is kicking away like normal. Do you think it was because of the tablet or just a fluck and they were having a lazy day. Only asking as i was really achy last night.x

Morning all,

very quiet so far on here today, hope that means more births and cuddles for those boldies who have been waiting a while.

Having a lazy day today, decided not to do much just need to send a couple of emails and type a few letters but thats it.
Speaking to my nan yesterday and she doesnt recall anyone in the family(her children or grandchildren) being late infact she knows some were early, does this run in the family or is everyone really different?

Best wishes to all those in bold and to those who have started labour hope you are getting cuddles by the end of the day.

sorry i cant be of any help but it generally gets busy on here so im sure someone will be along soon who may have an answer.

The only thing i can say is that my own is always quite still in the day but my goodness doesnt she make up for it at night this often has me waking up with what feels like sore tummy muscles. I have not taken any relief for this but can imagine why you would want to as at times things do get very uncomfortable.
Perhaps try and have a chat with your MW she might offer different advice to the doctor.

unfortunately my dear you are at the prime stage for stretching and ligament pain. the paracetamol wont do anything to baby but it doesnt sound like a particularly productive solution to the problem - are you seeing your midwife anytime soon? she will have a lot more helpful suggestions. All i can say from personal experience is that i went through this around the same stage and it REALLY hurt! however im not coming up 28 weeks and its really eased off. I think i just had plenty of warm baths to ease it, and used lots of pillows so i felt comfy and supported in bed.
