im gonna add to the tales of woe, im having the worst week !
the TV in my room has broken, we only purchased it in Aug last year
As those on facebook will have seen i managed to put the washing machine on a 60 degree wash for a handful of items that should have been a quick wash - it took 3 hours  and ran all the colours.
We attended a meeting for my eldest son yesterday regarding his education and its seeming pretty likely he has some kind of autistic spectrum disorderwhich was just heartbreaking thinking of how judged and how tough his life is going to be
We all got soaked on the way to school this morning, now the only pair of shoes and trousers that fit me are squelchy wet, put the heating on to dry them which led to,
( lastly) the carbon monoxide alarm just went off and im now sat feeling pretty rank so looks like our boiler is fooked - im going to go with my first instinct of going back to bed for the rest of the day
hope you are all doing better than me !Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -

It never opened up past 3cm in 48 hours - with 40 hours at 5 mins apart and a medicalised horrid labour which failed to take into account my birth plan.
I am still very angry with the hospital and being caught up in the system and not myself for "failing to progress" yet again.
I never had much control over my experience so to give the best advice I can to you...
Stay at home as long as possible as the stress of being in the medical environment may slow things down - it did for me.
AND make sure your birth plan is VISIBLE and don't be swayed down a path you are not comfortable with. I wanted a waterbirth VBAC and was refused despite being assured I would get it at all my prenatal appointments. I ended up with the emergency c-section and lots of drugs and interventions.
Remain IN CONTROL - It is your body after all - don't be all polite and let the professionals take over. Always listen to your instinct.
And to the really really good bit....:D

and hugs to you mishka - bed is certainly a good option. I am cuddled up on the sofa with a fluffy blanket, hot water bottle and chocolate. Hope your boiler is OK.
congrats ladylegs - sorry to hear your labour didn't go as you wanted, but I'm sure having Joel makes up for it

Congratulations to all the new Mummies (and Daddies) Sorry cant remember all the names as I have been keeping up to date with this on my phone and its a pain to type a message. I would, however, like to say please stop having babies as I am moving up this list too quickly and I am still in denial about the whole 'I'm going to be a mummy!'
It's really strange how the different pcts work. I went for a physio assessment at 14 weeks and I pretty much referred myself - I just phoned the physio dept and got offered an appointment for a week later. I did the same again at about 30 weeks as my pelvis was a lot worse (I have an unstable pelvis which likes to go out of alignment) and now I have a delightful tubi grip thing to wear.
Re weight my bmi was only about 17.2 when I was 9 weeks pregnant and not because I have an eating disorder or anything just because I have always been thin. No one seemed to care (mw) apart from me and I was basically told 'oh we dont bother with that until at least 28 weeks'. Thankfully after pestering them one mw referred me to obs for growth scans. Since then I've put on just over a stone but again not been weighed since my booking in appointment and no one seems to want to know if I've put on weight or not. Mind you I've not seen the same mw twice and at the minute I dont have one who is assingned to me as my one (who I met once in the 28 weeks I was pregnant) left about 6 weeks ago!
I'm getting a little worried from reading these posts regarding food. I hadn't planned on cooking anything and freezing it should I be? I just thought that my DH could continue with this role but now I'm questioning it. Oh man I will need to find room in the freezer.
With regards to washing baby clothes I'm assuming it needs to be a non bio. I have sensitive skin and I can use bold 2in1 with no problems but I dont think its a non bio so I'm a bit worried about finding a new washing powder which is suitable for me and baby without "inviting" a type of birdie into the lady garden iykwim
One last thing (I promise as my memory has now gone blank) has anyone seen the deal from Emmas Diary for the laboraide tool? Considering getting them but wondered if anyone had any experience of it etc0 -

I use Ecover washing liquid (I prefer liquid over powder as it seems to work best for dark clothes).
I also have SoapNuts which are great! (Didn't get them from that shop but to give you an idea). Literally a few of them in a little bag in with your wash, and no need for fabric conditioner either, just some drops of essential oil on the bag.0 -
congrats lady legs..
Did I miss choc lovers annoucnement? I dont see her on the list anymore?
I'm going in to be induced today. Have to be there at 3pm.0
