Here is the recipe guys. I make it by the giant potful. Normall triple quantities. I also use tinned spinach cos it's cheaper. Doesn't make much difference to taste. Don't use frozen spinach tho as it makes it too watery

Looks super yummy :) will have to add that to the list. Thank you xx

Try this one too. Very filling. http://www.slimmingworld.com/recipes/barley-and-butternut-squash-hot-pot.aspx
Forgot to add with the spinach curry I don't have rice or anything cos it's really enough with the sweet potato. U tend to dip pitta into it. Yun

ladylegs - congratulations! I hope you are now on the mend and things can only get better.

kelda_shelton - good luck. Hope all goes smoothly and you'll be enjoying mummy cuddles soon.

griggsy - we bought Fairy liquid and conditioner for the baby. A bit pricey but don't want to try no-name brands when our LO is tiny. Fairy was recommended on quite a few internet websites and seemingly it's good for sensitive adult skin too. I believe it's made by P&G who also do Bold so you should be fine.

fluffnutter - sorry it wasn't amniotic fluid. Hope things start moving for you soon and you don't go overdue.

divorcingjack, mishkanorman and RebakahR - sorry you're having a bad day

snowyz82 - I'm afraid I don't know much about painkillers but my MW told me at about 20-25 weeks not to worry if baby is not moving as much. It's seemingly still very small and if it changes position you may no longer feel the kicks even if it's moving. But of course if your gut feeling tells you something is wrong, give your hospital a call and they'll tell you to come in for monitoring. Oh, and when I was buying paracetamol in Boots at the beginning of the pregnancy I was advised to take no more than half of the recommended dose. So not sure if paracetamol is really that safe?

    * rant warning* And this is exactly why I hate GPs - they prescribe paracetamol for everything like it's some sort of a magic drug. In my eyes a GP is no better than a receptionist - all they do is prescribe paracetamol and decide whether to send you to a consultant. Hope I haven't hurt anyone's feelings on here saying this but GPs make me so angry  Me and my friends had loads of problems with/because of them before.

Sorry if I've missed anyone. My brain is having a sleepy day - probably because it's so dark and gloomy outside :(

Sorted baby clothes for the hospital bag today (still no bag) - decided to take 4 newborn bodysuits and sleepsuits, 2 0-3 bodysuits and sleepsuits, one newborn set I got from my mum, 2 hats and 2 pairs of scratch mitts, 10 nappies, a tester tub of sudocrem and a pack of cotton pads. Have I missed anything? Hope the LO can hang on a bit longer as hubby is off next week and we could go shopping for a bag. Oh, and my sleepsuits and bodysuits are not matching - when I was buying them I had no clue they are to be worn together. But who cares if my LO wears a yellow bodysuit with bees and a blue sleepsuit with cars?

    Have a nice afternoon everyone.

    Afternoon!

Loving the facebook group, will take me a while to get used to real names and faces etc! Nice to be able to share all our baby pics when the time arrives though!

    Welocme to the newbies!

Fluff! Was expecting a baby update! Never mind, I !!!! myself daily too haha! Bit of leakage :D

((((((((hugs)))))))) Mishka and DJ hope your days get better!

Congratulations ladylegs! Sorry to hear you had a tough time, I'm sure cuddles with Joel will make it all worth it :)

    Good luck Kelda!!

I won't be freezing any meals etc, my mum and MIL have both said they will bring meals round if we need it and I've stocked up the freezer and cupboards so between me and OH we will sort it! Although good on you ladies being prepared!

We've been using Persil non-bio and pure Comfort for the last few months, so our clothes smell the same as the baby's. It took a while to get used to because I was a softener fiend!! My washing HAD to smell strongly or I'd wash it again! But the pure comfort is a nice smell, and I'm used to it now.

I might be wrong but I think choclover was beong induced Tuesday?

Re paracetomel, I've had to take it twice while pregnant and that was when when I had migraines at about 20 weeks. And wasn't feeling baby moving at that stage anyway, had first movements about 23 weeks. I only ever took 1 as I was a bit paranoid, but found it really didn't do anything. Have had headaches since and not bothered taking any. When pelvic pain has been bad I've been really tempted but I just dont want to! Pelvic pain is flaring up today and OH said dont suffer, just take one but I'd rather just suffer! Am I weird?

I've got a wedding in two weeks. Am wearing my £20 maxi dress with some bling. .... and I think I was invited to the main do for ulterior motives (long story) why would I spend a small fortune? I

You'll look great, that maxi dress looks good on you.
Do tell the ulterior motives (you can tell I'm in the mood for a good gossip :D)

I'm with you on that one. I avoid taking painkillers unless the pain is really really bad. I read that if you over use them then you may get "immune" to them and they won't work as well as they should. Don't know if it's true but I figured taking too much drugs can't be good anyway.

I clearly need to start learning about baby clothes, this is news to me as well. How many layers does the little one need to wear?? (Mine will be a winter baby - early Dec I think)
