Re paracetomel, I've had to take it twice while pregnant and that was when when I had migraines at about 20 weeks. And wasn't feeling baby moving at that stage anyway, had first movements about 23 weeks. I only ever took 1 as I was a bit paranoid, but found it really didn't do anything. Have had headaches since and not bothered taking any. When pelvic pain has been bad I've been really tempted but I just dont want to! Pelvic pain is flaring up today and OH said dont suffer, just take one but I'd rather just suffer! Am I weird?

No, you're not weird. You just want the best for your baby. If you can put up with the pain, why take a painkiller? The only time I'd say it makes absolute sense to go with the paracetamol is if you have a fever. In that case it's probably far better to reduce your temperature (which can adversely affect your baby) than take the pill (which in all likelihood won't).

    Thanks for adding me Mishka!

Just vacuumed and then baked a batch of choc muffins. Can't taste or smell them coz of this damn cold - but they don't look particularly appealing! Hope they taste better than they look. Brother just came round and sampled one and seemed happy enough.

Does sounds like a crappy day for many people.
Miskha I'm with the going back to bed plan lol. Sounds like too many wrong things happening for you. Hope the boiler is safe though. Can't imagine how upsetting it must be to be told that your son may be on the spectrum. What happens now? Are they going to do some kind of proper assessment, I mean is this just the teacher's thinking? How old is he if you don't mind me asking? Sorry haven't much experience on it all. Hopefully if it's a "milder" form (sorry don't know techy terms) he'll be able to get along fine with a few adjustments.

Thanks for all the hugs guys,

LMM, our next step is to take him to the Dr for a referal to the hospital so they can asses him,

its all quite daunting, we have always been working on the assumption that he was just a bit of a geek :o who liked what he liked and just had a few personality quirks. (he is A LOT like Sheldon from the big bang theory, his way is perfectly normal and its the rest of us that are unreasonable) The school have been great but its the start of a pretty long process now :(

Hope baby turns around all by itself!
How do they tell if it's breech? Do they just feel the bump and listen for a heartbeat or is it off for a scan? Or does the scan just confirm the suspicions?
Scan can confirm. I can feel she is breech. All my kicks are low down on my bladder-cervix (painful as hell!!!) or my anus. I can feel a rock hard head under my right breast that turns from side to side and little hands come up to it and punch lighter than the kicks below. Bum is soft - heads are rock hard.
And the other way to confirm is with the heartbeat doppler. You guys prob have it held low down near your foo foo - for me its held right up high above belly button.

RJ thanks for the recipes, will be trying out the spinach and sweet potato curry! Who was it who suggested freezing mashed potato? I had never thought of that before - how long would it keep for? Love sausage and mash, one of my favourite meals!
The mash was me :) I think it would keep 3 months or so, maybe longer? I freeze it in those plastic takeaway tubs. Defrost at rt and reheat in microwave. Add an extra knob of butter and mix through before serving. Nom nom nom :D

LMM heres a link to the page. http://www.laboraide.com/quad-pack.html

I wouldn't pay that price but Emmas diary have a code to bring it to £3.99 so considering whether it would be any good.

There's a couple of codes around to bring it down to that price but I've not found any reviews yet singing their praises by people who have actually used them. I have read a few comments from people who have bought them and then when in labour not used them though x

I clearly need to start learning about baby clothes, this is news to me as well. How many layers does the little one need to wear?? (Mine will be a winter baby - early Dec I think)

My LO is 19 months and I was told to think about what you are wearing for the weather that day and add 1 layer. So in the winter indoors you might wear a cotton top and a cardigan, so the baby wears a bodysuit/vest, a top and a cardigan.

In the summer there were a couple of days that were very warm, so indoors I just had a bodysuit/vest on my LO. (Guess that means I should have been naked if I'm following the +1 layer rule LOL)

Sounds like we've all had bad days, here's hoping tomorrow is better for all of us! xxx

Do I need to photocopy both sides of my MATB1 form? Am I right that I keep the original and everyone else gets the photocopy? x
