Thanks kitten wasn't too bad was only 10 miles outside Cardiff. Called recovery to pick me up and poor police took pity and let me sit in their car for a bit. Mechanic gonna look at it tomorrow and hopefully tell me it's a very simple to fix and cheap problem but I know I'm not that lucky. Problem is I'm meant to be moving by other half into my house this weekend and on Monday I'm meant to be driving to Manchester for a few days break. Eeeek. Ne'er mind the fact that I left my keys with mechanic including house keys lol so can't get my uniform for Uni tomorrow do gonna have to call in sick lol

Ikkle my work want the original. They refused one girl application for mat leave as she sent the photocopy. I photocopied mine as I don't trust HR not to loose it. My OH's boss didn't want to see it, depends on the company I guess.
RJH sorry to hear about your car. Didn't it break a while back and you got stuck in your PJs on the motorway? Hope it's simple to and cheap to fix.
Mrs E I'm sure someone mentioned that NCT hire tens machines out. But I've not looked yet to be honest.

Me and my OH work for the same company but he is at a branch in Leeds and I'm at a branch in Ripon and they've told him they need a copy of the MatB1 and a form filling in. He actually has my due date week booked off as holiday already as we were due to go on holiday that week, then I got pregnant so he needs to ask if he can move it forward or to the back of his paternity leave.

They've also told him he has to apply for flexi paternity leave, which I've never heard of so he needs to ask what that means because he's entitled to 2 weeks off whether they like it or not, it might just be that they mean because we aren't sure if I'm getting induced early or not yet x

It was Rebekah lol I had that too. It's stopped suggesting baby stuff and now I just get mangles, cars and BMX parts. X

Lots of pelvic pain today. Lower backache and a period-type pain kept waking me up intermittently last night. When I saw the midwife yesterday, she said the baby's head's moved down even further. Last time she could still feel 3/5ths, yesterday it was only 1/5th. That's practically hanging out isn't it?!

It's a sign surely?!

Hi Fluff - delurking just to say that this is how my labour with DS started! I had period type pains every 10 minutes for a few hours overnight and then intermittent pains during the day and then full on, get-me-to-the-hospital, pains later in the day. Tens machine was useless as most of my pain was at the front and not in my back. Hope this is it starting for you!! :j

:wave: morning ladies. Sorry I wasn't around yesterday but I was out all day meeting happy, emmylou and mancbird. Had a lovely day but was out of the house from 8:30 until 6pm, and did a fair bit of travelling so I was too pooped to come read back last night. I've had a read back now, I'm sure I've forgotten most but here goes .....

Mishka, ((hugs)) my nephew is currently being assessed for ASD. They originally thought he had ADHD but now think he has ASD which causes/aggravates the ADHD. My sister has been upset about it all and is worried about how though his life will be. He sounds like your son, has set routines and things he likes but is capable of interacting with people when he wants. He's so very clever too, is way ahead of his class in reading and maths but his behaviour means he isn't getting the attention he needs. I don't know a huge amount about it all but if you want to chat/rant you know where to find me. Have you looked at the National Autistic Socitey website here, they have lots of useful information and their forum is supposed to be good too.

Ladylegs, congratulations on the birth of your baby boy. I'm sorry you didn't get the birth you wanted. I'll change the list just now.

Kelda, good luck again, I hope you're having mummy cuddles now/soon.

For those that were asking choclover is still on the list just moved her down to the bit at the bottom for people who are over 2 weeks past EDD.
