For anyone doing the little lambs offer check with your council to see if they are doing the £30 voucher to use resuable nappies. Sadly mines aren't as they are just offering their own packs. I did find a website through google which told you what your council offered re nappies etc.

Hello all, thanks for the good luck messages for my due date

I'm waiting for 3 deliveries, does anyone want to give me odds on who is more reliable out of:

I thought something may happen last night as I was getting loads of wiggles and cramps - the least he could've done was engage. But no, I had the worst nights sleep I've had for my entire pregnancy, ended up curling up on the sofa with the cats so I didn't disturb my OH whose been looking knackered all week and all for nothing.

Went to my obstetrician appointment this morning, they were running an hour late which I'm not used to as all my previous appointments have been before 9:30 so they've not had time to be late. But I actually saw the consultant which is only the second time ever After a bit of dithering by me I agreed to a S&S as the consultant suggested doing one even though baby hasn't engaged yet. According to him it was a textbook perfect sweep though did hurt a little. Seems to have triggered a 'show' but nothing else so far.

He said to keep my prebooked appointment for a S&S with the mw on Tuesday if baby hasn't arrived by then and discuss a date for induction but hopefully baby will be ready before I need an induction.

Did some shopping, had lunch then curled up in bed for 2 hours sleep - more than I had last night I've now swapped places with my OH so he can try for some sleep.

I need to remember to take a book/laptop with DVDs etc... when I go into hospital - unlike the comments from everyone else I've seen the consultant wants me to go to the hospital immediately if a) my waters break or b) I start getting regular contractions even if they're not every 5 minutes so I could be in there for awhile. Have already packed a notebook, pen and pack of cards.

Good luck to everyone having appointments, scans, inductions etc...

Sounds promising mrs manda, hope things get going for you soon - let us know when you're heading in!

As for deliveries, I've always found HDN absolutely useless, personally! Royal Mail better, although they've been coming later and later. Today I've had one delivery from TNT, and one from some other company. Still waiting in for Yodel, who have never failed to be anything other than useless!
