Anyone else got a naughty breech baby? 33 weeks and still not going head down ... i'm terrified of that section threat ...

My baby was breech until about 35-36 weeks, but has turned cephalic now. I don't know if you remember me saying, but I had moxibustion...a bit voodoo and I am such a sceptic, but baby did turn the day after I finished the course! Might be worth asking if your hospital offers that, or acupuncture or anything similar.

The other thing that may have caused baby to turn was me being on my hands and knees painting skirting boards all weekend...!

Fingers crossed your baby will be a good girl and do what mummy wants :)

It's been a few weeks since I posted an update, and there's lots I want to tell you about. I'm 24 weeks now, still barely showing!

I was really lucky to find a beautiful Mamas and Papas cotbed in a PDSA charity shop, for a bargain at £50 and it looks new! The gentlemen in the shop even dismantled it for me and loaded it into my car.

This bank holiday weekend we went a little baby shopping mad, as we saved lots on the cot we ordered an Urbo travel system from Mamas and Papas with all the trimmings which I'm so excited about its the nicest pram we've seen anywhere, and they had 10% off this weekend, but it won't be delivered until 20th August! Also got a travel cot to double up as a playpen in the living room to keep baby out of harms way from our silly Labrador. Lots of talk about cats on here, anybody worrying about how their dog is going to react to the new arrival?

Finally, an embarrassing question, but can anyone advise me what I can do about -TMI- constipation and piles?

My midwife and consultant have said that I can use over the counter piles cream. - Would check with midwife as it says so on the back but should be fine.

Constipation just eat as much fibre as possible to try and dislodge, that and liquids.

Just signed up myself - basically a website where you have an account, and if you buy by clicking the links from that site, then you get a discount or cashback into your account. https://www.quidco.com

There is an article on this site somewhere comparing various cashback sites... I'll have a quick rummage for it for you. Found it: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/cashback-websites

I'm a bit - ahem - clogged up so to speak as on iron tabs at the mo, eating plenty of fresh veg, bran flakes and wholemeal bread as per request of midwife.
When I've had constipation before, the pain has been so bad, I've just stopped the iron tablets as couldn't put up with it. But this time as I'm right near the end I thought I'd just have to put up with the pain but its not been too bad.

You have singlehandedly made me feel organised! - Is there any friends that can'help' you (do it all!!!!!) :rotfl:
Yea the mother in law :rotfl:Declined her offer though as she doesn't understand the word "no" and it would be redesigned and turned into what I don't want! Plan to paint this weekend. TBH I keep telling myself so longs we have nappies - clothes and the moses basket for the baby to sleep in then that's the basics covered. We will get there! Right I am volunteered for the low painting to get that baby moving LOL. just spent a few minutes on the bed with my !!!! in the air - so uncomfy! ... Those of you on my blog and facebook know what my nursery currently looks like :rotfl:I will keep you all posted ...

I have a nearly 7 stone lump of love (also known as a dog :rotfl:). I was debating whether to get something like a travel cot etc for baby just to put him out of harms way.

I'm not worried how she'll react as such, I think she'll sulk and have a healthy dislike for him. I do worry about how she'll react if anyone other than DH and I try and pick him up though. I think we'll have to pass the baby to people rather than let them pick him up. Just so she knows it's ok. I'm going to borrow the little girl next doors doll for a few weeks as well (she offered) and carry that round with me - it cries. Hopefully that will get her used to it all a bit.

The pram is the biggest issue...she's not a fan at all!
