Morning ladies.. Hope everyone is well
I'm knackered.. Had my second sleepless night due to SPD... And I've got a poorly wisdom tooth
Had a group physio session yesterday which midwife had referred me for.. Got a couple of recommended exercises but sadly I don't think they'll help my hip pain which is what keeps waking me up in the night.
On a brighter note... Got my 4D scan tomorrow morning !! Yay!! Jus hoping baby cooperates and isn't facing the back!
Loving all this talk of reuseables.. I too have a OH who won't entertain anything other than disposables.
I managed to get 3 x Bambino Mio Trial packs from Mothecare.. They were reduced from £10.99  to £3.30 each.
Ive been looking at the other brands but am holding off buying more until baby arrives just in case we don't get on with them.0 -

Thats a fantastic price! I got my Bambino Mio Trial from the local nct fair for £2. Forgot I had one of those and the 2 lollypop nappies as part of my collection above ...0 -
They are great.
I haven't given my husband the choice with regards to nappies however he is pretty much on board.
Only thing he does want is to be able to feed LO, so I have agreed that once breastfeeding has been established I will express every now and then so that he can bond too.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Sometimes you need to take small steps with men and they eventually come round.
My DH wasn't that convinced, but I told him we were using them anywayWhen they arrived and he had a play with them he was actually really excited. My DH's grandma was horrified though, she looked at me like I'd grown an extra head and said that she bet it wouldn't last til the second baby :rotfl:
Ikkle - maybe see if you can set up a meeting with a nappy lady to talk about using them, and see all the different kinds? We've deliberately gone with pocket nappies to make it easier for the nursery when I go back to work (and DHtoo) as they're so simple to use once they're stuffed.

Hi guys
i'm feeling emotional still
I just can't shift it
I had a trial run of inflating the pool last night with the oh... it's MASSIVE! but i will be able to float around in it so it's all good
gonna use it as a family swimming pool (always supervised) in the summer
it even has a wine cup holder...
I'm so glad we went with the more expensive package with the electric inflator.. it only took 5 mins to inflate all the bits on it. It would have taken hours with a hand pump! plus it was deflated within 5 mins too
I had terrible tummy pains last night so told the oh to keep the pool up. I took some pain killers before bed and the pains went away. I actually slept really well for the 1st time in months!
Maddie was picked up for her toddle waddle at nursery by one of the workers this morning so that saved me walking up thereIm going up at 1pm to collect her. I hope she had a good time.
Re- reusable nappies they look fab, but i'm too lazy to deal with them
hugs to all that need themxxx
