dependant on what area you are it will be 24% or 15% (may be 16%). Good Luck0 -
I'm on the EnergyOnline tariff. Are there any lock ins on the EnergyOnline Extra Saver. Have tried phoning them to swap, but lost the will to live after 30 mins on hold, thought i might email them and ask to swap.
Read that powergen haven't decided if they are to apply the recently announced price cuts to existing customers, is that correct?0 -

There are No Tie ins.
Whoever reported that story is talking out there behind. Powergen have not made a widescale announcement over price decreases hence why existing customers are not seeing any reductions. When the decrease is announced existing customers prices will come down.
The product they are talking about is EnergyGuarantee which means prices will be cheaper then bgas guaranteed until 2008. For that you need to call them otherwise if you stay as you are when powergen annouce decreases existing customers prices will change automatically.
For all Self Serve online customers I strongly advise to enter your readings monthly from now on until the prices are decreased so your not charged to much at the old prices.
Any Consolotion Npower put there prices down 3% on the electric and something like 11% on the gas. Taking effect from 1st April.0 -

I am in West Midkands and am already on Winter Saver at 16% discount.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Does your supply number starts with 11? If it does you may be best staying as your are. As I think that your discount actually drops 1%
Its the same in my area - I live in Supply Area 10 and I am on winter saver - If I change to Extra I lose part of the discount.0 -
My ssupply number starts with 01.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Thanks for the info Gal. Would it be best to stay on the EnergyOnline standard tariff and wait to see what price reductions are offered, or do you think the price reductions will be applied to the EnergyOnline Extra Saver as well ?0

Phoned up Powergen and moved to Saver Extra, saving £180!!
Very naughty that they do not move you automatically or advise you of the existence of these new tariffs, although understandable from their point of view.Charlie0 -

I just wanted to confirm, I asked specifically about tie-ins and was told there is no tie-in and I could come and go as I please.0 -
